Elena Gilbert woke up the next morning to the sound of Esther's, Bonnie's and Rebekah's voices. Elena opened her eyes and looked at them. "Hey guys." She said softly as she looked at them from her bed. "I'm sorry, if we woke you up, Elena." Rebekah said as she went to Elena's side and sat down. "How long was I asleep for?" Elena asked looking at her. "A day." Bonnie said softly looking at her. Elena suddenly got nauseous, she got up and ran into the bathroom before throwing up. Bonnie and Rebekah changed the bedding and made Elena's bed a little bit bigger.l Elena came back and laid down in the bed, feeling totally exhausted. "Bonnie, I don't feel good. I'm nauseous, tired and my boobs hurt." Elena said looking at her best friend. "Graviditas." Esther said as a white and pink light surrounded Elena's stomach area. "Oh my goodness. Elena." Esther said as he face lit up with happiness. "What is it?" Bonnie asked looking at Esther. "Elena's pregnant." Esther said as she looked at the young woman. "I'm pregnant?" Elena said as she began hyperventilating. "Papilio lux." Esther said as a golden light appeared and surrounded Elena. Elena began to calm down and started to resume breathing normally. "What was that, Esther?" Elena asked looking at her. "It's a comfort spell. It's, it's supposed to provide peace of mind." Esther said as she looked at her as she sat down on the floor. "Thank you." Elena replied looking at her with a soft smile. Rebekah went over and held Elena in her arms. "Your pregnant, Elena! You have always wanted a baby." Bonnie said as she joined in on the hug. "I know, Bonnie. I wonder what it is and considering the Mikealson genes, she is going to be one hell of a powerful child." She said looking at Bonnie and Rebekah with a smile.
"Do you know who the father of the baby is?" Esther asked Elena as she told Rebekah to get Niklaus. "Yes, I do. He is literally the only person that I have slept with." She said. Niklaus ran into the house and looked at Elena. "Can we get a minute alone?" Elena asked. "Yes, of course." Esther said as she and Bonnie went to prepare dinner. "Niklaus, I'm pregnant." She said as she looked at him. "We are going to have a baby?" Niklaus said happily as he looked at Elena. "Yes, we are Niklaus." Elena said as she looked at him. He took a moment to process all of this new information. Niklaus went over and laid besides her on the bed and pulled Elena close to himself. "Do you know the gender of the baby?" Niklaus asked as he laid his head onto her shoulder. "Yes, I think that it is a girl, Niklaus." Elena said as she looked at him. "What makes you think that?" Niklaus asked her. "I don't know, it's just a feeling, woman's intuition." Elena responded as they cuddled each other and looked at one another. "What do you think we should name her?" She asked him gently. "I don't know but I think we will know when the time comes." Niklaus said. "I think so too." She said as looked at him. They smiled happily as they both closed their eyes. "Goodnight, My love." Elena said gently as she kissed his forehead. "Goodnight, Darling." Niklaus said gently. They both fell asleep in each other's arms.
Two Months Later... Niklaus and his brothers had built a house for the new additions to their family to live in. Niklaus blindfolded Elena and brought her down to the place where she always sought peace and comfort near her spot under a large tree on the shore of a small swimming hole. The surrounding greenery around the swimming hole were trees and tall bushes, guarding their miniature counterparts: The flowers and the weeds. There were many beautiful types of flowers like roses, sunflowers, lavender, daisies, and daffodils that were always surrounding the area. She found that whenever she looked out at the water, her spirits were always being uplifted. She was always looking into the depths of the dark water, trying to figure out what secrets it had hidden since it's formation just like her mind. Niklaus had sold some of his art and bought a small ring that was made out of silver with blood red ruby inside of it. He took off Elena's blindfold and got in front of her on one knee as he held out the ring. "I know that we haven't known each other for long but I love you and that will never change. So will you do me the honor of becoming my wife, Elena Gilbert?" Niklaus asked as he looked up at her. "Yes, Yes, Niklaus. A thousand times Yes!" She said as he put the ring on her left ring finger. She looked at the ring and smiled as she pulled Niklaus close and hugged him tightly. She leaned in and kissed him deeply and passionately.
They parted and she looked around at the field they were in. They were surrounded by hundreds of trees, the leaves were blowing in the breeze and the trees were different shades of red and orange. It was breathe taking. Elena was wearing a medieval dress and her hair was braided of to the side. She smiled and started twirling around enjoying the scenery. She nearly jumped out of her skin when to hands gripped her sides. She jumped back and looked into Klaus' eyes. "I love you, Niklaus Mikealson and I would very much love to be your wife." Elena said as she looked at him with a soft smile. "I love you too, Elena Gilbert and I can't wait to be your husband." Niklaus said as she looked at him with a very big smile. She leaned in and kissed him deeply and passionately. Klaus kissed her back as he closed his eyes.
