June 19,  Nine Months Later...

Esther, Elijah, and Niklaus Mikealson stand at the altar. Everyone stands as the wedding march is played. Kol comes into the room with flower petals spreading them everywhere as Rebekah and Bonnie follow him. Kol joins Niklaus and the other boys. The two girls go and stand across from the boys. Elena Gilbert comes down the aisle in a beautiful long beaded white dress with a long lace train being escorted by Mikeal Mikealson. She walks up to and stands across from Niklaus. Mikeal places her hand in Niklaus' and gives her a miss on the cheek. She smiled as she looked at Niklaus. "Dear friends and family, we are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the union of Elena Gilbert and Niklaus Mikealson in marriage. In the years they have been together, their love and understanding of each other has grown and matured, and now they have decided to live their lives together as husband and wife." Esther said as Rebekah and Bonnie took each other's hands and held them.

"May you always need one another, not to fill an emptiness, but to help each other know your fullness. May you want one another, but not out of lack. May you embrace one another, but not encircle one another. May you succeed in all important ways with each other, and not fail in the little graces. May you have happiness, and may you find it in making one another happy. May you have love, and may you find it in loving one another." Esther said as she looked at them both. "Do you Niklaus, take Elena to be your lawfully wedded wife, promising to love and cherish, through joy and sorrow, sickness and health, and whatever challenges you may face, for as long as you both shall live?" Esther said as she began tearing up. "I, Niklaus Mikealson, promise you, Elena Gilbert, that I will be your husband from this day forward, to be faithful and honest in every way, to honor the faith and trust you place in me, to love and respect you in your successes and in your failures, to make you laugh and to be there when you cry, to care for you in sickness and in health, to softly kiss you when you are hurting, and to be your companion and your friend, on this journey that we make together." He said looking at her.

"Do you Elena, take Niklaus to be your lawfully wedded husband, promising to love and cherish, through joy and sorrow, sickness and health, and whatever challenges you may face, for as long as you both shall live?" He asked looking at her. "I, Elena Gilbert, promise you, Niklaus Mikealson that I will be your wife from this day forward, to be faithful and honest in every way, to honor the faith and trust you place in me, to love and respect you in your successes and in your failures, to make you laugh and to be there when you cry, to care for you in sickness and in health, to softly kiss you when you are hurting, and to be your companion and your friend, on this journey that we make together." She said happily.

"Now for the exchange of rings." Esther said as Elijah gives them the rings. "I, Niklaus Mikealson give you, Elena Gilbert this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you." He said as he put it onto her left ring finger. "With this ring, I thee wed." Niklaus said as he looked at her. She smiled and looked at him. "I, Elena Gilbert give you Niklaus Mikealson this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you." She said as she put it onto his left ring finger. "With this ring, I thee wed." She said smiling softly. "Wedding rings are made precious by our wearing them. Your rings say that even in your uniqueness you have chosen to be bound together. Let these rings also be a sign that love has substance as well as soul, a present as well as a past, and that, despite its occasional sorrows, love is a circle of happiness, wonder, and delight. May these rings remind you always of the vows you have taken here today." Esther said as she looked at the people standing in front of her. "By the power vested in me by the bonds of earth magic, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Niklaus, You may kiss your bride." Esther said. Niklaus smiled as they leaned in and kissed each other happily. "Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you, Niklaus and Elena Mikealson." Esther said happily as she hugged Elena and held her close to herself.

June 20, The Next Morning...

Elena had gone into labor during the night. She was currently with Esther, Bonnie, Rebekah, Elijah and Niklaus. She was screaming in pain as she gave birth to her baby. Niklaus held her hand. "Push Baby." He said softly looking at her. "I can see the head." Esther said looking at them. "Give me one more big push." Esther said. She nodded and pushed with all of her strength. Soon they heard the baby crying. "It's a girl." Rebekah said as she cut the umbilical cord and tied it. She smiled happily as Elijah went and cleaned off the baby. Soon Elijah came back over and handed Elena the small baby that was wrapped in a small pink blanket. "Hello, little one." Elena said as the young baby girl began crying. "She is so beautiful. What is her name?" Rebekah asked as she looked at Niklaus and Elena. "Amara Jenna Mikealson." Elena said as she looked at the baby in her arms. Amara Jenna Mikealson was a beautiful young girl with dirty blonde hair and beautiful chocolate brown eyes. "We can all tell that she is definitely Niklaus' daughter." Elena said as she began rocking her young baby girl to sleep. "I didn't notice." Elijah said teasingly. Elena smiled as she looked at her baby.

"Hush hush, go to sleep. rest my little one. I just adore you more than anyone. Hush Hush, go to sleep rest my little one. Little fishes of the deep this is your bedtime song. Drink your milk and grow so tall just standing where you are. Then one day you will reach the sky and soar among the stars." She sang as she looked over at Niklaus. She rocked the small newborn in her arms as she looked up at her husband. "From the stars, gather every star you can and drop them in the sea. The waves will gently rock them back to sleep. Protector of the sea. Call the waves to sing me to sleep." She sang as she rocked the baby to sleep in her arms. She looked up at Niklaus. Elena put the baby down for a nap and put the baby into a crib that had been set up. Elena covered the baby up and laid down on her bed. She then proceeded to fall asleep.

One Year Later...

Elena was holding Amara in her arms as she stood outside of the house looking up at the sky. Esther and Bonnie were outside of the night of a Comet that is passing by Mystic Falls. They gathered together as began preparing relentlessly in order to get everything right this time. If she failed, she not only faced the wrath of Bonnie, but also the wrath of the original hybrid. Bonnie lit the candles suddenly, causing all the eyes in the room to snap to the witch. Bonnie, Esther, and Elena started chanting in Latin as Elena held the baby in her arms. The candles started flickering and an unknown force made the room fill with wind. The witches chanting became louder as the flames of the candles grew tall. There was a quick flash and a loud thud as the sound of two crumpled bodies and a year old baby crying appeared in the circle of the candles.

Elena, Amara and Bonnie hugged one another as they looked up in confusion. Elena looked down as she held her girl close to herself. "Amara, my love. It's okay, Mommy has you." She said as she held her baby girl in her arms. Elena gently rocked her bed.  Her light pink slip dress was dirty and her hair was wild. "Elena, you're okay. You're home." Niklaus said as he rushed to Elena's side and took the baby from her arms. "Niklaus. Your here." She said happily as she looked at Niklaus. Elena's eyes filled with tears as she looked at Caroline and Stefan. "Where is Elijah and the others, Niklaus?" Elena asked him gently. "They are in New Orleans with Hayley and Hope." Niklaus said as he looked at her with a guilty look. "Who is Hope?" Elena asked. "My daughter, she was just born a week ago." Niklaus said. "What? Your a father of two now." Bonnie said softly under her breath smirking at him. Elena pushed Bonnie gently. They giggled as Caroline came over and looked at Elena and the baby.
"Who is this little angel?" Caroline asked as she looked at the baby. "This is Amara Jenna Mikealson. She is a year old." Elena said looking at her. "Who is her father?" Caroline asked looking at her. "Niklaus is Amara's father." Elijah said as he entered the room. Elena smiled happily as she got up and hugged Elijah. Everyone else in the room looked at them in shock and disbelief. "Do you think about us? What our future would be like? Our memories?" Klaus asked as he looked at her and held her hand intertwining their fingers. "I remember the moment when I first fell inlove with you because that is when I discovered the good part. I remembered the ultimate promise. The promise that love can be eternal. You inspired me. You pushed me to own the darkest parts of myself. And I still married you." She said smiling as she looked at Niklaus. Niklaus looked at her happily as she kissed Elena's forehead gently. "I think it's great how he's always been there when it mattered. Through thick and thin. Good times and bad times." Bonnie said as she looked at them. "Niklaus, I love you." Elena said smiling as she looked at him and their daughter. "I love you too." Niklaus said as he picked up Amara.
