Elena walked outside and sat down on a bench alone. She waited for the Mikaelson Family. Klaus rushed up and grabbed her by the throat pinning her against the tree. She couldn't breathe and began struggling. "Niklaus." Elena breathed out as she kicked him in the stomach. He groaned and dropped her. Kol caught her before she hit her head. "Niklaus! Calm yourself down!" Rebekah yelled as she and Elijah held him off from hurting Elena even more. "Your mother put my blood into the champagne and tried to link you all together so if one of you dies, you all die and Finn was more than happy to sacrifice himself. I felt guilty because I actually like most of you and I don't want any of you to die." Elena said as she went over and hid behind Elijah, hoping her would protect her from his siblings. Kol went over to her as she suddenly felt faint, She looked at everyone before darkness consumed her. Elijah caught her in his arms before she hit the ground. "Elena." Elijah said as he tried to wake her up. "What happened?" Rebekah asked looking at her brothers. "No idea but let's bring her inside before it gets worse." Klaus said. They carried her into their home. The Salvatore brothers saw them carrying along with Caroline and Matt. Everyone rushed over to Elena. "What happened?" Damon asked looking at them as he looked at Elena. "She went unconscious." Elijah answered. "Let's get her upstairs into a guest room." Rebekah said. They nodded and all rushed upstairs. They went into a guest bedroom and laid her down gently onto the bed. "Elijah get a bowl of water and a washcloth. Rebekah, Matt, Kol and Niklaus go downstairs to the party and get everyone to go home." Caroline ordered, they nodded and left.

"Damon call Alaric. Get him here now, tell him to bring an overnight bag with clothes, necessities and Elena's diary in it." She said. Damon nodded and got out his phone calling Alaric. He left the room as he talked with Alaric. "Stefan get some food and water. She will need it when she wakes up." Stefan nodded and left. Elijah returned with a bowl of water and the washcloth handing it to Caroline. Elijah went over, laid next to Elena, he covered her up, he tucked her in before grabbing her hand and holding in his own hand. Caroline wet the cloth with warm water and put it onto her forehead. "Elijah, Can you watch her for a little bit. I need to go, use the bathroom." Caroline asked looking at him. "Yes, of course." Elijah said as he looked at Caroline. Caroline nodded as she left leaving them alone together. Elijah kissed Elena's hand gently. "Elena, please wake up." Elijah said softly into her ear. Alaric showed up with her stuff and set it on a nearby chair in the room. "Elijah? What happened?" Alaric asked him. "She just went unconscious, I tried waking her up but it didn't work." Elijah said looking at Alaric as Damon walked back into the room. Niklaus, Kol, and Rebekah walked into room. Niklaus went and sat on the bed by her side. Elena felt the bed shift. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked around as she sat up. "What happened?" Elena asked looking around seeing everyone. She looked down and held onto Elijah's hand. "You were unconscious." Damon said while glaring at Elijah. "Oh." She said softly. Rebekah looked around. "Let's let her change and rest for the rest of the night." Rebekah said softly. All of the boys, Rebekah and Caroline left her alone in the room. "Elijah, can you come here?" Elena asked. Elijah vamped into the room and walked in, shutting the door behind him. "What do you need, Elena?" Elijah asked as he went behind her. "Help me take off my dress, Elijah." Elena asked. Elijah nodded,  unzipped her dress before going and standing by the wall looking out the window. Elena took off her dress and accessories besides her necklace and put them into her bag. She changed and grabbed her toothbrush and toothpaste. "Where is the bathroom?" Elena asked. "Down the hall, first door on the left." Elijah said. Elena nodded and left. She went into bathroom and brushed her teeth and take out her hair. Once she was finished she walked out. She went back to the room they was in.   She laid back down onto the bed. Elijah covered her up and looked at her. "Elijah will you stay? And can you grab my diary from the bag?" Elena asked looking at Elijah. He nodded, he went over, grabbed her diary before laying down next to her on the bed. Elena smiled softly looking at him. Elena gently took her diary and a pen from him. She opened her diary to a new page, clicked on the pen and began writing. 'There's little joy in life for me, and little terror in the grave; I've lived the parting hour to see of one I would have died to save. I seem to myself, as in a dream, an accidental guest in this dreadful body. She had the mysterious solitude of ambiguous states: she hovers in a no-man's land between life and death, sleeping and waking.' Elena started writing her current feelings into her diary.

'It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. It was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness. The enchantment of that bright, sad, pretty place enveloped her and she found that, against all her expectations, she was very happy there. She knew to her sorrows, again and again, if not always that she loved him against reason, against promise, against peace, against hope, against happiness, and against all discouragement that could be.' Elena wrote into diary as she thought about Elijah and Niklaus. 'Love is the synthesis of a dream and reality; love is the tree which buds lovers like roses. A real lover is a woman who can thrill you just by kissing your forehead or smiling into your eyes or by just staring deeply into space. They say searching for love is like searching for yourself. When you find yourself, you will find love because they are the same. When you are with them you will feel like you have finally found yourself. Even if you weren't searching for love but somehow found it, you will hold it close to yourself and never let it go.' She finished writing as she put her pen away. She closed her diary and set it beside her as she shut off the light. She looked over at Elijah who was facing her. "Goodnight, Elijah. Sweet Dreams." She said softly as she cuddled up to him. "Goodnight, Elena. Sweet Dreams." Elijah replied as he placed his arm around her waist. Elena closed her eyes and got comfortable in Elijah's arms before falling into a peaceful and loving sleep. Elijah watched the young doppelganger in his arms sleep for a little while before closing his own eyes. A few moments later Elijah fell into his own peaceful dream world.
