Exams are coming!

Naveen : kaise hai Shalu? Do din se collg bhi nai ayi.

Shalini: thik hu yar. Collg ane ka man hi nai kar rha hai. Ghar par bhi bahana bana dia hai ki padhna hai islie nai ja rahi hu

Naveen : kyu kar rahi hai aisa?

Shalini: janta to hai tu. I don't want to face him yar.

Naveen: Teri bat hui Gunny se?

Shalini: nahin. Jis din he broke up, I tried calling him few times. He didn't picked up. Bad me usne call back nai kia. Fir I stopped trying yar. Kya fayda?

Naveen: hmm.

Shalini: chod vo sab. Exams ki preparations kaise chal rahe hai?

Naveen: thik hi hai yar. You know I just feel sometimes that I chose wrong.

Shalini: matlab?

Naveen : matlab yar, shayad engineering is not my calling

Shalini: so what do you want to do Naveen?

Naveen: pata nai yar. May be I still need to figure out that. Anyways abhi to pass hone ke lie padhna padega varna mummy papa to jaan hi le lenge.

Shalini chuckled lightly on this. Naveen smiled that at least, he improved her mood a little.

Rajveer just texted Niharika, "all the best for exams". They haven't been talking much these days. Both of them are drifting apart and avoiding each other's calls. They blame it on examination but in their heart they knew they never clicked.

On the other hand Rajveer dearly missed the small chitchats with Naina during his computer classes. With the semester ending, they won't be sharing this class again but he really found a friend in her.

They exchanged numbers during their last class and remain in touch. Even by a text message or a short call, there never goes a day when these two haven't talked.

One such day when Naina was really nervous.

Rajveer: it's ok Naina. It's just the first semester. You won't be continuing with most of these subjects.

Naina: I am scared. If I won't do well then?

Rajveer: then what? You will have 7 more semesters to make up. Stop worrying.

Naina smiled on the other end. He always makes her worries seems a little less critical.

Rajveer: vaise thoda ED aur M1 par dhyan dena. Ye dono some sabse jyada log fisalte hai.

Naina: ok. Han mai dono ko revise kar rahi hu

Rajveer: don't worry. I am sure, you will do well.

Naina: how are your studies going on?

Rajveer: all well. Nothing to worry much.

Naina: Data structure is also going well?

Rajveer: Han yar. Classes ke bad i feel confident. Ab to mera favourite subject hai data structure .

Naina: I know. I have seen in classes that you enjoyed a lot.

Rajveer: well it's not just the syllabus I enjoyed in classes.

Naina blushed a little on hearing this. But said, "acha. To kya enjoy karte the? Sir ki company?"

Rajveer played along, "well yes. Sir is an interesting company. Par kuch aur bhi tha which I enjoyed there"

Naina raised her eyes, wanting to hear him say it, "as in?"

Rajveer: "as in", you already know facchi. Chalo I have to go now. Bye.

With it he disconnected the call, smiling like a fool.

Whereas Naina, who is anticipating him to say something is even more frustrated. She swore not to talk to him for another two day as a revenge, but knew in her heart that it's a lost cause.

Abhimanyu had been calling Shalini from past few days and today she picked up to close this once and for all.

Abhimanyu : finally aapne phone utha hi lia Shalu ji.

Shalini: Abhimanyu.. Shalu is for my friends and last I checked, we are not. So it's Shalini for you.

Abhimanyu: okk. Lekin aap hume Abhi kahiye kyuki hum to aapko dost mante hai.

Shalini rolled her eyes over his obvious attempts of flirting.

Shalini: hmm. Kuch kam tha?

Abhimanyu: nahin humne to bas aapka hal chal lene ke lie call kia tha. Suna hai Gunny bunny se aapka break up ho gya hai.

Shalini: actually "Abhimanyu", it's none of your business

Abhimanyu: Shalini.. aap to aise hi itna naraz ho rahi hai. Humne to bas yun hi puch lia. Vaise kal humara last exam hai, Kahi chale exam ke bad?

Shalini: I am sorry but I am busy

Abhimanyu: busy? Badi jaldi naya boyfriend nahin dhundh lia aapne?

Shalini: for your kind information Abhimanyu, I am not interested in being anyone's girl friend now or in near future. So better save your energy for elsewhere.

Abhimanyu: shayad naraz kar dia humne aapko. Anyways all the best for tomorrow.

Shalini: you too. Bye.

With it she disconnected the call with tears in her eyes. She is done being the show piece for boys. No more relationship for her until she gets a grip on herself.

Exams are done finally and Naina's group is talking in the common area of department.

Huda : mummy ji ki kasam yar, acha hua exams khatam ho gaye? Salon ne first semester me hi jan le li

Ali: kya bol rahe hai aap Huda. Ache to hume humare sare paper.

Pooja: Oye tere to ache hi jayenge. Tu to top karne ka soch rha hai. Hayo rabba!! Mujhe to M1 me lag rha hai ki mera connection hi na chut jaye.

Ali: kaise bat kar rahi hai aap Pooja. Humne check kia tha aapke sath exam ke baad. Aapne thik Dia hai answer sheet. Aaram se 70 to cross kar hi jayengi aap.

Pooja: sacchi aisa hua hai to pakka tujhe party.

UD: it's not fair dude. Hume bhi party de do.

Pooja: use islie party dungi kyuki usne mere itne doubts solve kie..padhaya bhi mujhe

Alekh: han to tu bhi usi ko doubts puchti hai. Apun logo ko to aj tak doubts nai puche

Pooja : Oye kaidi tu na jyada natak na kar. Ali intelligent hai islie usse doubts puche

Huda : acha Usool intelligent aur hum sab kya pani kum chai?

Naina : chodo na guys. Ali intelligent to hai hi. Tum sab bhi intelligent ho. Kyu itna tension le rahe ho. Acha ye batao ab kya plan hai?

Huda : mera to mast plan sone ka hai aur uske bad time mila to Jaya mam ko call karunga.

Naina narrowed her eyes on him. He laughed at her expression, "Phoolan tu kyu naraz ho rahi hai..tu bole to tujhe bhi call kar lu"

Naina stomped her feet lightly on his, "Jee nahin. Tu Jaya madam par try mar"

Huda : Owww. Yar tu violent kyu ho jati hai. Bechara tera future boyfriend.

Rajveer who is standing nearby heard the entire conversation and laughing is interrupted by Niharika.

Niharika: Hey

Rajveer: Hey.
