Clickers and Bloaters

"How many bullets do y'all have?" Chris said. "Three." Christa said. "Five." I muttered. "Four." Jake said. "A full round." Ellie said. "Two rounds." Joel said. "You all know where to aim." Chris said. "Get ready." Christa said. We all stood there with our guns drawn. "Carl, Sarah, Kendra, Abigail. Take Lee and find us a safe spot." Jake ordered. "You got it." Carl said. Kendra gave Jake a kiss on the cheek and took off.

A runner had turned the corner. Chris out a bullet in it. Suddenly runners came from the corner. We all shot them down. That's when this.. thing came around the corner. "Clicker!" Ellie shouted. "Shit. Shoot it!" Joel said. Jake shot it in the head but it was still alive. "What the hell?" Jake said. "Shoot it again." Christa shouted. This time we all shot it. It dropped down dead. More runners came from the corner. We all pulled the trigger but our guns were all out of ammo. "Goddamnit! Run!" Joel shouted. We lowered our guns and started to run. "Up here!" Carl said. We started to run up the hill Carl was on. "Follow me!" He said. We all followed Carl to the spot they found.

We turned the corner and this big guy was there. "Bloater! Get back! Get back!" Joel shouted. We all backed up. Chris was to slow. The Bloater punched him in the face and grabbed him. Chris whimpered in fear. Then he died by the bloater ripping his jaw apart. "Noo!" Christa shouted. "There's nothin' we can do. Lets follow the Carl and get outta here." Jake said grabbing Christa's arm. Finally. We reached the place they found.

"C'mon get inside." Joel said holding the door open. "Where's Chris?" Abigail asked. "He didn't make it." Christa said. "Fuck! He was our only doctor!" Jake said punching the wall. "Calm down. You're gonna get us killed." Joel said angrily. "Don't tell me to calm down dammit!" Jake shouted. "Guys calm down. Don't fight." Ellie said getting between them. Joel and Jake both glared at each other.
