Found a Deer

Clementine's P.O.V
After we were all reunited, we got a good nights rest. The next morning David Carl and Jake went hunting. I went with them. I wanted to spend time with Jake. Considering the dream I had about us two reuniting, I really missed him. "You know, you didn't have to come with us sis." "I wanted to. I mainly came to spend some brother sister time with you." I said smiling at him. He smiled back at me. "Psst guys." Carl whispered. "What's up?" Jake questioned. "David and I found I deer." A smile formed on my face. A deer would be a great meal for tonight. We followed Carl to some bushes where David has a rifle pointed at the deer.

"Should I take the shot?" He asked. "Go for it." I said. He cocked the rifle and shot the deer. "Through the neck!" I said with a grin. Carl and Jake ran up to the deer and started to pull it back to us. "We oughta get back to the cabin before walkers or runners get here." Jake said. "Hell even clickers might've heard that." I added. Suddenly we heard runners. "Motherfuck." Jake said taking his revolver out. David loaded another round into the rifle. Carl wrapped his arm around me and took out a gun. I gripped his hand hard. I left my gun at the cabin because I thought I wouldn't need it. Bad choice.

"How many bullets does everyone have?" Jake said checking how much bullets was in the revolver. "Four." David said. "Two clips." Carl said. "Now, according to Joel, these are still human. Kinda like the infected." I said. "Got it." David said. Runners started to come from the forest. "Here they come." Carl said. "Clem run." Carl said pushing me. "No Carl." I said. "Just go!" He said. I gripped his hand and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Now go." He said.
