Authors note: Okay in this picture is Kenny and Clem. But just imagine Jake there. Just to make it easier I'll tell you what he looked like when it was Episode 2 A House Divided. Well he had his hat you seen in "Still the Same" with long hair in the back. Not like Kenny's mullet. Long bangs just above his eyes. He has a black sweater with white strings. And that's basically what I had in mind for his upper body. I would make my own version if I knew how to do that kinda stuff and I don't have the software. Anyway I put this here because this dream will be Clem and Jake reuniting at the ski lodge. Credit for the picture Bembiann on deviantart.
"Luke?" I yelled down. I seen him running toward the ski lodge along with the rest of the group. I seen Nick holding a rifle at a group. But he was also being held gunpoint. I climbed down the ladder and ran toward the group. "Who are you? Are you trying to rob us?" I heard a lady sat with an Indian accent. "Excuse me honey, but do I look like a fucking thief?" Rebecca replied. "Everyone calm down." "Hey man, you calm the fuck down!" Alvin shouted. "Sarah get behind me." "Just tell us who you are." "We ain't here to rob nobody. Put the gun down man." "Fuck that!" "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa." "Please just do what he says."
Luke lowered his arms and I saw someone who I thought I lost. "J-Jake?" I said pushing my way through Luke and Nick. "Wait you know this kid?" Luke questioned me. "Clementine?" "I- I thought you were dead." I said as I looked at him. Jake wiped a tear away. I was so happy I hugged him. "I'll take that as a yes." A man said in a red sweater. "These people with you?" Jake asked me. I nodded with a smile. "We can talk inside." Jake said. "Great! I just started dinner." The man said happily. Carlos looked at Sarah and then looked back at the man. "Are you sure you don't mind?" "It's gonna storm soon. Please come in."
Jake and I smiled at each other and started to walk with each other. He's like what, sixteen years old now? Last time we were together he was fourteen. The man in the sweater opened the door and let Jake and I in. "Jake and Sarita have been staying with us for a several weeks. This used to be a ski lodge, obviously, so we have plenty of food. And believe it or not, we still get some power from that turbine out front." The man explained. "Walter here is one smart son of a bitch!" Jake said patting his shoulder. "He makes awesome peaches to." Jake said with a grin. "I'll let you two catch up." Luke and the others entered the lodge with us.
"Please make yourself at home. You can leave your things over there." Walter said peeking at the bench. "Bullshit!" Rebecca spat. "Yeah I'm holding onto my rifle. Thanks." Nick said. "You can trust us. Please. Put your weapons down." Walter said. "Tell the kid to put the gun down then!" Nick said. Jake glared at Nick with anger. "Jake?" Walter said, asking him to put the rifle down. "Will you vouch for these people Clem?" I looked at him nervously. "If you tell me they're good, then I'm good." "Us?! You were the one waving the gun around man!" Nick said. "Jake. Just put down your gun." Walter said. Jake glared at Walter and started to walk down the stairs.
Luke took out his machete and placed it on the bench. He looked at Nick and expected him to do the same. Nick shrugged and placed his rifle down. I placed my backpack on the ground and smiled at Jake. He smiled back and started to walk up the stairs. "Good. If you'll all follow me, I can show you were you can sleep." The one I think named Sarita said. We all walked the steps and I never really noticed how big this place was. I was following the group until I looked at the fire place. It looked like a cozy place. "C'mon Jake. Lets talk." I said grabbing his hand. Jake smiled at me and nodded.
I sat down on the couch and Jake sat beside me. "Still wearin' this dirty old thing dad gave ya huh?" Jake said nudging my hat. "You know I half expected to see Lee to walk up next to you. You two were inseparable." Jake said. I looked down in sadness. "Oh shit I didn't mean to- it's just, hard not to think about it you know." "I know. It's okay." "I'm sorry Clementine. I know Lee was close to you. Lee and I had our differences that's for sure. But when Jason... well, he helped me do the right thing. I'll never forget that." I nodded.
"So, where'd you end up?" He asked me. "I was with Christa and Omid. Omid well..." I said with a sad expression. "Got shot in the chest by a woman. I was with Christa for awhile, but these guys caught us. They're both gone now." Jake looked down in sadness. "Sounds like it ain't been easy for ya. I'm sorry sis. Wish I coulda found you sooner." "Where have you been?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. "Aw man. All over after Savannah." "How'd you get out of there?" "For some reason, I tried to help that piece a' shit Ben. Then it turned into a damn cluster. Couldn't help 'em. But I got out. Spent a long time alone after that."
Jake paused and closed his eyes. I leaned over and placed my hand on his arm. "Then I met Sarita, thank god. Dammit! It's great to have you back!" Jake said with a smile. "You two catching up?" Sarita questioned. "Sis, this is Sarita." "Nice to meet you Clementine." I smiled at her. "Hey Walt, where's Matt? He still on his big ass walk?" "Of course he is. Well. I'll start dinner." Walter said. "Can we do anything to help?" Luke asked Jake. "Could use a hand outside. Gotta lot of supplies to move in before that storm hits." "Sure." "Clem, why don't you help Walt with dinner." We exchanged smiles and nodded at each other. Once Jake left I walked to Walter. I'm so glad to have my brother back. I missed him so much.
