Today's the day. Everyone we know is inside the church. Lee is probably watching me right now. He's probably smiling down at me. "You nervous?" The lady asked me. "A bit. Thanks for getting my wedding dress ready." "Sure thing dear." The doors opened and I started to walk down the aisle. Everyone stood up. Carl stood there smiling at me. The priest nodded his head at me. "Do you Carl take Clementine to be your wife?" "I do." "Do you Clementine take Carl to be your husband?" "I do." "I now pronounce you as husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."
As soon as we kissed everyone stood up and clapped. Just then Jake and Rick ran into the room just after we kissed. "Clementine, did I give you permission to get married?" Jake asked me showing no sympathy of happiness that his little sister is getting married. "No you didn't, but I don't care what you say. I love Carl and you can't do anything about that."
"Same with you Carl." "Dad, I love Clem, and she loves me. And we won't listen to what you two have to say about that." "Well. I'm happy for you sis. Congratulations." Jake said giving me a hug. I wasn't sure if he really meant it though. He said it with no expression in his voice. "Guess we just have to accept it Jake. Welcome to the family Clementine." Rick said with joy. "Clementine Grimes. I love it!" I said. Carl gave me a big smile.
