The next morning when I open the door to go down for the breakfast, I didn't expect to see Alan's room wide open, I took a closer look to see what's going on inside only to find the servants cleaning and packing his stuffs which confused me more, I immediately rushed down to ask my parents.
"What they're doing in Alan's room dad???" I hastily asked, taking a seat in the dining room filling my plate with foods, hearing his name everyone gone dead silent.
"They're moving his stuffs out.. because we don't have enough room, one of my guests is going to stay there for this weekend" mom responded cautiously making me stare at her dumbfounded, mom never had guests before the only friends she has is aunt savannah and aunt Meghan.
"Why his room when we have so many rooms" I grunted clenching my fist, they know I hate seeing his room empty and yet they're doing it.
"Zara there's not much room, besides, everyone staying here for this weekend, remember" dad placed his hand on the top mine giving it a assuring squeeze.
"Then give them mine, I'll stay with Selena" I pushed the plate away losing the appetite eat anything and stomp out in the direction of my room.
"Keep everything back in its place and leave" I commanded with a clam yet authoritative voice as I entered his room, they hurriedly put everything back in its place and left. I walked over to his closet and stare at the clothes tracing my fingers at his favorite pair of grey Adidas, my eyes glistening with tears.
I glance at his bed remembering the last conversation I had with him.
Flashback
I'm fed up with his bullshits, Alan's been giving cold shoulder to everyone for the past 2 days. Imma gonna beat the crap outta him for ignoring everyone. My phone rings on my bed before I could do my confrontation.
Smiling, I attended the call immediately when Aj's name flashed on the screen, then remembered, he didn't call me for days.
"Hello to my gorgeous girlfriend from other side of the country" I heard Aj's cheerful voice greeting on the other side.
"Hello, who's this?" I asked flatly not giving away any emotions "I think you called the wrong number!"
After a second of pause "Okay, I get it you're mad at me" his voice is quavering a bit in the end, pulling the sad card on me knowing too well, that'd make me give in soon, I could practically see him giving a puppy dog face pouting.
"Wow! Mad would be an understatement of the century" I scoffed, not going to give in that easily "and then again I should cut the call"
"Oh, Zara my love! Don't say such a thing to your husband like that," he mocked teasing, making me blush at the term husband, I shook my head smiling this guy never leaves any chance to flatter me.
