We both sat in silence, it's not awkward or tension between us we had before, it was comfortable, I'm really glad I talked to her, though I didn't tell her, I'm still suspecting someone is behind the accident.
"Hmm.. Do you wanna watch a movie?" I cast her a side way glance.
"I call dibs and you go bring some snacks" she grabbed the remote excitedly searching through the Netflix.
I brought two bowls of popcorn, Cheetos and two cokes placing at the table, I sat on the couch as she hit the play button.
"Who watch teen dramas these days," she gazed at me clearly offended by my words.
"Teen dramas are my shit," gesturing herself drastically "and I live for drama dude, the girls, Spenz and Al-" she stopped shortly, realizing something when I gazed at her frowning. She averted at her eyes, a moment later a sigh relief washed over her, when I didn't press the matter.
Without another word we watched the movie, until I stopped, "who'd write love letters these days, that too for five boys, then why we have phone" I pursed my lips clearly not understanding why girls are so dramatic these days (okay don't hit me with a pry pan or broom what I'm saying is girls nowadays love dramas so much) as she hit the pause.
"Gosh!! Seriously Sam," she threw her hand up in exaggeration.
"What! It'd be embarrassing if your friends or family finds out something like this" I said, thinking about my brother and friends finding things like this about me, god.. they'll embarrass me to death.
"I find it cute to write letters to someone you actually like," she gave me a look when I opened my mouth to remark how cheesy she sounds "that doesn't mean, I like it" before adding it up which immediately shut my mouth.
"Who do you think, sent those letters to others" I fascinated out loud halfway through the movie.
"Her-" she started to say "um.. I won't give you spoilers like my boy Hoshi the next Tom Holland of Kpop who spills spoilers unintentionally or maybe intentionally" she respond, as I frowned she's talking about Korean man again, which made me feel the same way I felt at the cafe, when I saw her hugging him.
I clenched fist staring at the screen.
"Holy shit.... it was her sister who sent those letters" I watched the scene in disbelief, I would have killed Jason if he did something like this.
"Okay, lemme ask you one thing" she turned to me "you heard, your best friend has a secret possession even you didn't know of, wouldn't you be a little curious to find out" she asked, which made me think about it.
"Uh, yeah! But I won't do something like this to embarrass him" I replied honestly.
"But I'd do it in a heartbeat," she pops a popcorn in her mouth "what's life without a little drama and fun" smirking with a wicked gleam in her eyes.
