I walked inside the doctors lounge exhausted, I got back to the work as soon as I left Spencer's place even though he's against it because of my health.

But I couldn't stay there any longer, after hearing Aj's name, I want to distract myself, do anything, so just buried myself in work, I did night shifts to compensate for the extra leave I took.

"Zara, why they're not here yet?" Liam glanced around the lounge for our friends.

"How could I know that, I also just come here with you" I remarked shrugging a bit irritated.

I have been a bit distant with them after the incident in funeral, Selena tried to soothe the disputation between me and Jen a few times, but we didn't listen to her despite the efforts she puts in.

It became more awkward for Selena then us, guess she's conflicted whether whom to support.

"Do you think she really committed suicide" one of the resident whispered to another, didn't notice us standing behind them.

"I don't know, but there is a rumor going around, that she's involved with one of the doctor" another one replied, I know who they are talking about.

In the blink of an eye, Liam grabbed his collar aggressively veins popping in anger, I know he'd happily snap his neck any second for talking trash about Emily.

"Run your mouth about her one more time, you won't be seeing the next day" He growled in the guy's face.

Liam seems to be deeply care for her, I can see it in his behavior, his normal goofy and irritating self is gone, he had been a bit reserved and quite, even though he annoys the shit outta me at times, it's paining to watch him shatter inside.

"Wha...what the h-hell m-man" that guy stuttered in shock.

"Whoa, I thought your brain is dead since you couldn't identify the conjunctival forceps last time in OP, well, I guess those cells inside your dead brain were immensely alive when it's comes to spreading baseless rumors" I quirked grabbing Liam's hand separating them.

One of them opened his mouth to say something, but seeing the looks on our face, he closed it back without saying anything.

They would better not run the mouth of theirs about her after this or else I don't know what I'll do to them.

"Let's go, don't get in trouble because of some shameless people" I dragged him out of the lounge to the basketball court in back side of the hospital where doctors would play in evenings, so it would be empty now.

He quietly followed without protest.

"Why, we're here" he urged me as we stand there silently.

"Do you believe Emily really committed suicide" I asked observing him closely.

"No, I don't believe the police, she's not the type to give up without a fight" He responded face contorting in confusion at my sudden question.

"Then don't get mad or act rashly after hearing what I'm about to say," I decided to spill it out to him "she didn't commit suicide someone pushed her"
