I did't know where I'm going, it's been 2 hours, since I left the funeral.

The image of sitting inside the crashed car seeing his bleeding face behind the wheel from three years ago appeared in my head breaking all strings I'm holding for my dear life.

I hit the brake halting the car in the middle of nowhere, tears welling up in my eyes blurring my vision, without warning they start to stream down.

"W-why... why this is happening again" I cried out loud in agony "I hate everything" leaning on the steering wheel eyes closed.

"Alan" I murmured, as I saw his head facing the other side.

Hearing my voice his head perks up slowly.

"You're bleeding" I gaped, trying to reach for him as a sudden pain shoot over my shoulder and head causing to lower my hand immediately.

Forgetting the situation I was also in, plea... Please someone help us, I wished someone would rescue him.

"I know" he mumbled slowly, eyes dropping, with a sad smile.

"No, Alan don't close your eyes" I pleaded him not to drift into unconsciousness, while fight myself to stay awake.

"Alan look at me, I won't let anything happen to you, please you have to stay awake for me"

"YOU. LET. IT." suddenly his fingers wrapped around my throat, his eyes were empty and had no trance of the care and love I have always seen in them.

"wha... What're you doing Alan?" I choked out the words grasping for air like a fish out of water trying to get out of his grip.

"You always make an empty promise don't you" his hold on me tightened even more.

"A-Alan s-stop i-it" I pleaded, my lungs burning for more air as I tried to remove his hand but failed miserably.

"ALAN" I jolt awake screaming his name sweating and panting heavily.

I glance around the car clutching my chest, struggling to breath.

Focus, focus on your breath Zara, my mind reminds me.

I took a deep breath to calm myself and reach to touch my neck. "Where is my pendant," I hyperventilate even more when I couldn't find the pendant.

It has to be here somewhere, "don't get panic, Zara " I said to myself.

When it became more difficult, I took out the paper bag out of the glove compartment and used it to breath in few times.

After few minutes of struggling, my breath returned to normal.

My pendant is missing, Alan gave it to me for my 10th birthday, I have to find it, I checked the car and couldn't find it anywhere maybe... maybe I left it in Sam's place.
