"You girls are stealing my thunder" Spenz complained as he came to sit with us on the side.
"It's always these three, don't join me with them" Cassie grunted eyeing Liam annoyed for some reason.
"It's not our fault, we look dazzling" Jen said flipping her hair confidently.
We were chatting about Cassie's studies in London when "oh look who's coming" Liam exclaimed abruptly.
"Who?" we asked in unison and turned to see James and Jade Parker entering.
"Isn't that your favourite author sis, the one you like" Cassie whispered to Selena.
"Yeah, that's Selena's husband and the she devil 'slash' Selena's sister-in-law 'slash' Zara's homewrecker" he answered earning a hit from Selena and an unimpressed look from me.
"Doesn't it the other way around" the words slip out of my mouth before I could stop it.
"Nah, in your case, she's the evil scheming boyfriend stealing mean girl"
"Seriously Liam how many times I have to tell you, I didn't like anyone or I'm no one's wife" Selena interrupted him with a shake of her head blushing furiously.
"Suuuuure, lie all you want," he teased her even more.
Well, I'm the one to blame here because after the tabloid incident, I told them, I met both James and Jade Parker in front of Liam, but she was the one who give away about her crush on him by yapping so much about him after hearing his name.
Ever since then he started to tease both of us but she is the one who's having it worse, because he knew I won't hesitate to throw punch if he has taken it too far.
"Who liked whom?!" Spenz stared at us unsurely, while Cassie watched us in disbelief.
We yell 'no one' in unison and I covered Liam's stupid mouth when he opened it to expose Selena, Spenz glance at us weirdly. If he knows, he'll go overprotective brother mode and chase them away with broom, if they'd so much as glance at us, yeah that's how it's always been, he's overprotective more than anyone of our family members.
With a nonchalant shrug "anyways Zara Aunt Ale called you!!" He told me before walking away to greet some of the guest.
I made my way to mom, but stood still in place surprised to see who's talking with mom "ah Lillian, Nathaniel this is my daughter Zara" mom introduced me to them, what really had me frozen in place was Sam who's standing with a blank expression on his face.
