"Kayden shall we bake some cookies" I asked, shooting right up from lying on the couch.

Today is my day off, usually I'd wake up in the morning and go down to my apartment to get ready for the work and come back here after finishing the duty every day, it has become a routine for the past five days.

We have been playing around pretty much since Sam left for the work earlier this morning.

Kayden glanced back immediately as he heard those words "really" with those big doe eyes you can practically see how much he loves cookies.

I nodded in agreement "yayyyy" he shouted and jump up in excitement.

I took out everything that needed to make the dough "Okay, ready" then put them on the counter and played a song.

"Ewwie mommy" Kayden cringed scrunching his nose as I wipe some butter sugar mixture on his face, making me laugh at his cuteness.

I'd save some for Sam, that man didn't even call me, usually he'd ask about Kayden every now and then if his son is with me, I'm pretty sure he's mad at me for ruining all his suits, but it's served him right for what he did yesterday night.

Yeah, let me tell you what really happened.

"Ssshhh, he'll find us" we hid behind the kitchen island, "don't tell your dad, I gave you this" he nodded his head.

"I can clearly hear you, come out"

"Oh, shi-" I bit my tongue for almost cursing infront of a kid.

We come out from our hiding spot, I stared at the pack of sour patch gummies, then hide it behind my back.

"Give it to me," he ordered sternly.

"No"

"Will you give it to me on your own or do you want me to take it away," he took a step forward and given the expression on his face he'd do just as he said.

"But, it's my stress food," I pouted, while giving it to Sam.

"Do you wanna die of diabetes, you're also making him consume too much sugar"

"Please give it back, promise, I won't give him, you won't eat it right Kayden" I nodded at Kayden desperately wishing he'd understand.

"Yes, daddy," Kayden nods his head.

"No, I won't believe you," he walked into the bathroom after saying.

"Jerk," I muttered to myself following him, close behind begging for my candies.

My jaw dropped, when he tore the pack and dumped everything in the toilet.

"Nooooo," my heart leaped to my throat seeing the candies flushing away.
