Salem woke on Christmas morning to find that she was alone in Lucius's bed. She looked over to the window to find that the sun had barely begun to rise when she noticed the sound of faint piano music.

She quickly threw on her silk robe over the black bralette and panties that she was sleeping in and ran downstairs.

She walked down the grand staircase as the music grew louder and she could now hear Lucius's voice with the music.

"When I grow older, I will be there at your side

to remind you how I still love you

I still love you"

She immediately recognized the song as muggle music. Love Of My Life, by Queen.

She rounded the corner and saw him playing the song on the grand piano as he continued to sing, unaware of her presence. She smiled as she watched him play, loving how happy he looked.

"My father used to sing that to my mother." She says as he turns and smiles, now realizing that she was in the room.

"I heard him sing it to her and I used to imagine falling in love with the princes from my storybooks. Then I would picture them singing that to me. I never imagined that my prince would be a wizard." She says as she smiles and pushes the blonde hair out of her face.

"Merry Christmas darling." He says with open arms. "Merry Christmas." She says as he kisses her, bringing a smile to her face.

The cat extended its paw from where she was sitting on the top of the piano like she wanted to be a part of the moment. "Merry Christmas Mas," Lucius says as he rolls his eyes and picks up the cat.

Ten Minutes Later

The two laid on the couch as they opened gifts. Salem sat with her legs crossed and a throw blanket over her as Lucius sat, stretched out on the other side of the couch.

"Okay, I went into knock turn alley for this so I hope you like it." She hands the box to Lucius. "Knockturn alley?" He says as he raises an eyebrow at her.

He opens the box and pulls the cane out. "Look, you can put your wand in it and I figured that with the snakehead on your wand, it would be perfect." She says as she shows him how to pop the wand in and out of the cane.

"Do you hate it?" She asks as she blushes out of embarrassment. "No, actually. I love it." He says as he smiles and examines the cane.

"And here you go." He says as he hands her a box that had a Madam Malkins sticker on it. She opens it and finds a beautiful, dark blue, satin, full-length cloak with a silver clasp on it.

"Oh my god." She says as she pulls it out of the box and runs her fingers over the material. "Do you like it?" He asks as he attentively examines her face. "I- I love it. I've never had a cloak this beautiful." She says as she smiles and continues to look at it.

"Well if you like that then you'll love this." He says as he gets up and grabs a box from the mantel.

"This isn't really a Christmas present. It's more of an invitation." He says as he hands her the box. She pulled out a full-length, tight, shiny, silver dress with long sleeves and a slit that went up to her thigh.

"This is beautiful." She says in disbelief as she runs her fingers over the dress. "Would you be interested in wearing it on New Year's Eve?" He asks with hope in his eyes. "We're having a gala for the ministry and a few of our closest friends, it would be a lot less miserable if I had you on my arm. What do you say?" He asks as she remembers her discussion with the elves.

"I would love to, Lucy." She says, making him smile.
