"Shes upset man, she's not always like this and you know that."

"What so she thinks she can be a bitch just because she's upset?" Grayson scoffs

"Well it's been a good enough excuse for me since Dad left right?"

"Yeah but cmon! I don't want to Ethan's walking around, I want the timid Bailey that's scared to cross paths of us."

"Now your being a dick, Grayson."

"Yeah... I am." He sighs

I get up suddenly

"Where you going?"

I knock on Baileys door, Cameron lays under a blanket rubbing her eyes when I open the door

"What?" She sighs

"Wheres Bailey? Was hoping to drown her in the toilet or something you know?" I ask casually

"I don't know, she hasn't been up stairs at all." Cameron says rolling onto her side.

"Turn off the light please, I'm going to bed." She huffs

"Night." I say, flicking off the light and shutting the door.

I jog down the stairs and she's not where I left her, or on the couch or anywhere in the kitchen.

I pull out my phone and send her a message

'where are you moms worried.' I lie. But it didn't send.

Something didn't feel right, the feeling sat in my chest. I now ran up the stairs and swang open the bathroom, she wasn't there. From experience I knew where the next place I had to check would be. And that's when I heard a splash.

"Fuck."

I run back down the stairs again, nearly slipping once I hit the tiles with socks on. I push the back door open and the outside atmosphere smacks me. I run through the snow and see it, our pool that had been frozen over from the weather for the last week had a hole directly in the middle of it where water came flowing out.

"Ah, fuck! Bailey!" I shout.

Next to the pool sat a rock that held down a piece of paper. I take that as my sign to jump through the hole. The fact that I was freezing and practically numb from how cold it was sat second to finding my sister on my list of priorities.

It's too dark to see so I throw my arms around, searching, until my hand comes across an arm that I pull into my arms and jump to the surface with.

"Bailey! Bailey!" I choke, spitting out water.

I drag her across the pool and realise she had rocks in her pockets to weigh her down. Using all my jihht I force her from the pool out onto the concrete. She wasn't knocked out which was probably worse because she was violently shivering.

"E-ethan?" She chokes

"Yeah. Yeah, Bailey it's me." I pant grabbing her arm that was covered with her sopping wet sweater sleeve.

"Are you okay? Can you breathe?" I splutter out anything I can

She flings herself into my arms and I wrap them around her just as fast.

"Why did you save me? I was a dick tonight and you saved me? She pants

"Because Ive been just as stupid as you have. And because I love you and really need you alive."

"Did you know I was trying to ki-."

"B... who goes for a swim when the pools frozen over? And you can't even swim, so it was pretty obvious." I laugh slightly, and she laughs more.

"If you died this would have been the last time I ever held you in my arms. The first time I ever did I had so much love for you all I ever wanted to do was keep you safe." I sniff

"We were a happy family. Cameron held you, then Grayson but I was being a big baby about having to have someone that would take all attention away from me..."

"Ethan, would you like to hold her." Their dad had asked four year old Ethan last, to which he then tried to get a glimpse at the baby that was wrapped up tight in a blanket, and see what the fuss was about.

She cried a lot and it made Ethan really annoyed but also really sad.

He nodded his head yes, and his dad carefully laid the baby into his lap as Ethan held his sisters head with his small hand and smiled.

"What's her name?" Ethan asked, not taking his eyes off her face.

"Her names, Bailey. You're her big brother." He said proudly.

Grayson leaned over and kissed the baby on her head.

"I love you Bailey." Grayson giggled

"I love you Bailey." Ethan whispered and laid a kiss on her head.

The End...
