I run over the lawn to Ethan's car. Grayson is in the front so I open the back door and throw my stuff in the back seat. I jump up onto the seat and shut the door.
"You're so lucky I'm not allowed to leave home without you." Ethan remarks, clearly annoyed. He pulls out of the drive way.
I bite into my apple and do up my seat belt.
"Well you leave without me anyway when you're pissed off." I mumble, my mouth still containing food.
"What did you say?" Ethan shoots.
I don't want to fight. I roll my eyes and exhale,"I SAID, if Grayson didn't take my phone I would have been on time." I roll my eyes. It's obviously not what I said, but at least I can't be blamed for being the reason if they're late.
Grayson pipes up as he joyfully says, "How about we discuss why I had your phone in the first place?" He smirks at me in the rear view mirror, knowing Ethan would kill me if he knew about Brandon messaging me. My brow furrows with worry.
Grayson is staring at me through the cars mirror 'Don't.' I mouth to him threw the mirror in which he returns a smirk. He clears his throat. He was going to do it anyway. I just can't win.
"SHUT UP GRAYSON." I try to yell loud enough to block out what he's telling Ethan
"So, uh. One of the juniors we coach hit Bailey up on Snapchat and asked her on a date for tonight." Grayson says casually as he grins.
I throw my head hard back against the seat and sigh to myself.
"Who?" Ethan reply's bluntly. I can't tell if he's mad.
"Go on, tell him." Gray smirks, turning around so he's facing me this time.
"No" I shoot back.
Ethan laughs as his eyes look at me through the mirror.
"Billy, I'll find out either way, so don't think you're saving yourself here." He sneers, and turns a corner violently.
I roll my eyes. I'm so sick of the childhood nickname they gave me when we were little. They know it annoys me, just like Grayson hates the name 'Gracie'.
But because Graysons older and so high and mighty I don't dare challenge him. Except when I feel like getting slapped upside the head.
"It was Brandon Norman." smirks Grayson. You can tell he just couldn't help himself. Asshole.
I look to Ethan and see a small grin appear on his blank face.
"Cool I train his division this morning so I'll take care of it." He grins, nodding his head."Ethan don't do anything dumb. P-please I'll- I-." I don't know what to say that will stop my brothers, so I say nothing, and let Ethan win.
"Y-y-you'll w-what?" Grayson sneers as he mocks me.
Gray was being noticeably more of an asshole then he normally is. It's probably because Fridays his favourite occasion to torture freshmen at football training. We pull up at school slowly. 'Thank god' I mutter internally.
"Shut up Grayson." I shoot, annoyed as I hop out of the car.
"Have a great day sweetie" I hear Ethan sing, followed by laughter.I slam the door. I look around for Brandon but it's no use, he'd be at practice now... and my brothers would be too shortly... great.
