Ethans POV
"Yo, E!"
I glanced over my shoulder to watch Tyler catch up to me, travelling in a slight jog.
"Whats up, bro." I say as we bump fists.
Tyler is a friend of mine and one of the best players on the football team. So for obvious reasons this made him one of the least people I want to see right now. All he talks about is Football, Colleges and his new Girlfriend, Mia. His interests mostly match mine which explains how we get along so well, even when he was talking badly about some cheerleader he hooked up with before he committed to being in a reletionship with Mia.
Deep down I hated how the boys on the team talked about girls, so I only interacted when I felt I had to.
"It's been a while, dude. Are you planning to grace us with your presence at practice anytime soon?" He exaggerates
This made me chuckle a little.
"You are playing Friday night at the game right?" Tyler adds, this time he's worried and not joking.
"Yeah, of course."
"Then you need to get your ass to practice then. Coach has gone into some meltdown because you haven't shown up. He's been such a hardass over it, making us run extra laps, yelling all the time. You gotta come soon, man." Tyler says desperately.
I had already heard of Coach's methods from Grayson.
I guess I felt bad for making everyone suffer over my lack of enthusiasm. But it was truly the last thing I wanted to do.
At the same time however, the thought of losing my position as captain an the status that comes with it made me snap out of it.
"Plus, Coach has layed off with all his 'Drug testing' bull-shit. So you'll be safe, bro." He says with a grin as he punches my arm jokingly.
It didn't take much to convince me to show up. I did love Sport and Football, and it was to risky for my future to slack off now.
"Well I guess I'll just have to come by, smack a few freshmen aroud, and prepare our team to win tommorow night." I smirk.
"That's the spirit!" Tyler says hyping me up.
I was starting to feel like myself again, and better then ever.
"Wanna round up some freshmen to mess with before last period?" Tyler offers with an evil grin.
He was always on the prowl for anyone to terrorise in grades below us. Not that I'm any better really, because I'm really not. He had been present multiple times when either Me, Grayson or the two of us combined chased down Bailey when no one was around. Tyler has a brother who was a Sophomore, and an Older brother who graduated with Cameron. I have fond memories of his brother driving us to practices as well as turning on us and beating us up.
My whole freshmen and sophomore years weren't the best. We had some real mean seniors then. So its only fair that I pay it forward to the lower classmen now.
"Have you got someone in mind?" I ask with a grin, getting a thrill from the thought of doing my duties as a Senior.
I let my eyes scan over the possible victims minding their business in the halls.
Tyler points out someone as I nod.
There was 23 minutes before my last class of the day. Better make this fast.
Baileys POV
After the tip from Matt I mannaged to escape from my brothers in Lunch.
Grace and I decided to linger like cowards in the Girls bathroom for a while.
