As we arrived at Diagon Alley the overwhelming sounds and smells coming from every shop was magical, I mean it has to be it is after all part of the Wizarding world. The splashes of colour everywhere you look just added to atmosphere.
The first shop we went to was Flourish and Blott's to get all the books I'd need for school which was great because I also bought some fictional books to read along with the mountain of books I'm bringing from home, I love reading, like drawing it helps me escape. As we entered Slug and Jigger's Apothecary the smell of ingredients hit me like a ton of bricks, so many smells all at once. After that we visited; 'Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions' and Gringotts to get my school robes and some money for the train. It was finally time to get my wand from Olivander's, I entered the shop excited and Olivander stood at the till waiting for me. 'ah yes, Ivy Lopez, I've been wondering when I'd see you' he said in a slightly creepy tone not gonna lie. He handed me a wand from one of the many boxes lining the walls and I waved it shattering the bulbs on the ceilings. He quickly swiped the wand away exclaiming 'nope definitely not'. The next wand he handed me was beautiful it had what looked like golden lighting strike decorating the entire wand and I was told it was chestnut wood wand Dragon heart string core, 12 ½ inch, hard flexibility. When I help it glowed golden and apparently that is a good thing as Olivander shouted 'perfect' and took it to the till for me. I headed outside after I had bought my wand and showed my mother. After that we headed to Eeylops Owl Emporium and I bought a beautiful owl who I called Hero she is a jet-black Snowy owl with piercing purple eyes that looked like they held the stars. After I had bought Hero, I was all set for the commence of school tomorrow and we headed home to start packing.

Sorry for any mistakes and bout the outfit in the last chapter I know technically this was set in 1971 but I like outfits like that so I'm just going to go with it.
Also the next chapter will be back story in more detail about Ivy's backround and family.
