She is the Slytherin twin of James Potter but she has made her own name as captain of the quidditch team, the best player ever, and her name? Ivy Potter. This is the story of how I came to be who I am.
After we had dinner in the great hall we were split into our houses as our prefects showed us to the common room and dorms. I had found Lily and as soon as we entered one of the girls dorms all the other girls that went up the stairs with us took one of the 7 beds so we continued up the stairs and found another dorm so the rest of the girls took beds and Lily and I went up the last flight of stairs to find a slightly smaller dorm that only had two beds but a massive amount floor space, we both ran to the two beds tucked in the corner separated from the rest of the room by a massive book shelf that ran floor to ceiling, it was like we had our own little dorm. We started unpacking some stuff like books and we put our trunks under our beds and sat by the window reading for about 2 hrs. The window between our beds had a massive bay window that we already knew we would spend a lot of time in. After we unpacked, we went down to the common room with our books, and everyone in the common room bar Lily and I headed out with the prefect for a tour of the school. We assumed the boys were still in their dorm because we didn't see them in the common room. After about another hour James and Sirius walked into the common room dragging Remus by the arms who was still reading his book, Peter followed close behind with some chocolate frogs. "somebody didn't want to leave the room" James said accusingly looking at Remus. "oh no, their book worms two" said Sirius pointing at the Lily and I. We all laughed as Lily, Remus and I reluctantly put our books down. "looks like it's just us" mentioned Peter implying that everyone from their dorm had gone for the tour as well, "oh well, we will just have to find our classes ourselves" said Remus who still looked upset that he had to stop reading. "oh, stop pouting Moony, you can read later" I said. We all laughed and made jokes for the rest of the evening as well as planning our first pranks which Lily was against at first, but we persuaded her by saying we wouldn't pull any pranks on her.
The next morning, we all had the same classes together so we headed there in our group and sat at the back so we could talk. The first prank of the day was on Professor Oswald our potions teacher, we had put a spell on his desk so everything that touched it got stuck including him. We spent the rest of the day pulling small pranks on the other students and avoiding the teachers. By the evening everyone already knew who the 'Marauders' were and they all new to avoid us on April 1st which amused us how in 1 day we could already make a name for ourselves.
