Time skip to 5th year, the boys are like brothers to me, and Lily is my best friend, James asks Lily out at least 3 times a week, we have a rivalry with the Slytherins cause we win any quidditch games that we have against them. The five of us have become known as the marauders and also quidditch players in Hogwarts we have been playing for 3 yrs. James, Remus, Peter and Sirius are slightly scared of me as they know I have anger issues and I've beaten up my fair share of Slytherins. When I am angry my left eye where my scar is turns white and if I don't calm down, I will turn into a panther and attack whoever pissed me off. Dumbledore knows about my anger issues and they take me to him if I turn. I wear my docs all the time making me 6"2 taller than Peter and James, the same height as Remus and just shorter than Sirius. By 5th year my adoptive parents had completely forgotten about me, they didn't talk to me and I stayed at school during the holidays.
Remus and I were heading back to the common room as we had a free period when we were stopped by a group of 3 Slytherins, "where do you think your going Half-bloods?" one said accusingly. "back to our common room?" I said in a 'duh' tone. We went to walk past them but the tallest one who was about 6"4 blocked our path. "you really chose the wrong day to mess with me" I said smiling. The shortest of the group lunged forward and punched me in the face, I moved my head when he punched me to look at the ground. "gimme a sec" I whispered to Remus who stood out the way smiling. "you just made a mistake" I said looking back to them. I swung at the small one hitting him square in the nose breaking it, the other two ran at me I stuck out my leg and spun round tripping them both up and they landed on their faces. The short one had gotten back up at this point a tried to punch me again I caught his fast and punched him in the gut, he doubled over, and I kneed him in the face. The other two ran at my from opposite sides, I ducked, and they punched each other. They all huddled together looking rather scared, I jumped at them and they ran off down the hall. I then realised that a crowd had formed around us. Remus and I walked off down the hall continuing to the common room as everyone watched us leave. "they won't be messing with me any time soon" I said and laughed. "you are getting good at controlling your anger, your eyes stayed the same colour" Remus mentioned.
We both laughed as we entered the common room, Sirius, James, Peter and Lily waiting for us. "Merlin, what happened this time?" Lily asked looking at the bruise on my face. "did you beat them up?" Sirius, James and Peter asked at the same time. "all I'm gonna say is that if 3 Slytherins have casts on tomorrow I wouldn't be surprised" they all laughed, and Lily gave me an ice pack for my jaw. We all sat around the fire as o told them what had happened and before we knew it was time for dinner, we all headed down and sat at our table. We laughed when we saw the 3 Slytherins with bruises and broken noses sat across the hall at their table. Dumbledore made an announcement that we would be having a party and we would have to dress up in costumes that corresponded with our patronuses, it was required to wear masks with our costumes. I had already decided what I was gonna be and so had Lily by the look on her face. The party was at the weekend, that gave us 3 days to get our costumes. Me and Lily looked at each other excited and we had already planned to go to Hogsmeade tomorrow to get our costumes.
