Today was the first day of lessons, Estelle was ecstatic. The black haired girl put a snake ring which was charmed to slither around her finger. She then brushed her teeth whilst thoughts swirled around in her mind.
'What if I fail at making friends?'
'What if I'm not supposed to be in Slytherin?'
El shook the questions out of her mind, then put her royal green Slytherin robes on and went to her first class.

She had finished her first class and now she was going to the great hall to find Draco. The girl then skipped towards the great hall with her spectrespecs. Whispers broke out again.
"Eww what is she wearing?"
"Insane, just like her father..."
"She seems... Interesting..."
She ignored the words which were being projected towards her and sat down at the Slytherin table where the stares intensified. Just as she was about to go to her next lesson when a girl wearing Ravenclaw robes leaped towards her.
"Hello Estelle!" The blonde haired girl sighed dreamily.
"Err- Hello ..." El started.
"Luna Lovegood." Luna stated calmly.
"How did you know my name... What THE Luna Lovegood! Daughter of Xenophilius Lovegood, publisher of The Quibbler." She rambled on.
"Yes that me, and I know your name from the sorting ceremony!" Lovegood explained. Estelle smiled she is finally meeting somebody with the same interests as her, hunting for crumple-horned snorlacks'!
"Its seems you like the Quibbler," She said eyeing my spectrespecs, "Do you happen to know a hot spot for wrackspurts?" She started to squint, looking for any signs of a wrackspurt infestation.
"You should try looking at the 1st and 7th years they always get fuzzy minds during the test!" El smiled at the girl who was now skipping off to the 1st years. She noticed a boy with piercing green eyes approaching her.
"Um- H-hello Rose." He uttered, she rose an eyebrow at his way of addressing her.
"O-oh well on the train you said we could call you that but if you don-" He blushed.
"No its okay. I just don't have many friends so I'm not used to the whole nickname thing." She admitted, looking down at her hands. Harry smiled at the girl, maybe she isn't like her father."Well I was going to say sorry for Ron." She looked up at him then smiled sadly.
"Its alright... Nothing I'm not used to." She spoke, her voice cracked slightly.
When she was growing up she was always shunned by the people of Hogsmeade well until Aberforth threatened to shove a hex up their a- Maybe it wasn't the most appropriate but it did the job. The whispers stopped, but people still stared the only people who treated her well were:
Madam Rosemerta the barmaid at the 'Three broomsticks', Eldora Flint the owner of 'Ballroom Beauty' and Bruce Capulet the fellow book worm/ Book shop owner.Potter saw the mournful look in her eyes then inched closer, cautiously as if she was a three headed dog. He then engulfed her into a hug, she stiffened by the physical contact. El then melted into the hug.
"I-I'm sorry it just seemed you needed one." He stuttered, pulling away from the hug.
"Thank you. Its nice to know somebody cares!" Rose muttered. Harry then stood up then held his hand out.
"Friends?" asked Harry, hopefully.
"Best of!" She answered, thoughtfully. Estelle then grabbed his hand and interlocking their fingers. They both blushed profusely, little did they know everybody was watching them; yes everybody. At the high table all the teachers were smiling at them, well everybody except Snape.
"W-well can I escort you to your next lesson." The green eyed boy proposed. Rose nodded, making her hair block her vision. Harry chuckled then reached to tuck a rouge strand of long black hair behind her ear. She felt her face flush with colour as she noticed the closeness. They gazed into each others eyes for a while until they heard an annoyed cough. The two students quickly looked to their side, Ron stood their annoyed.
"Black, what are you doing with Harry." The red head seethed. Ginny stood behind him with a look of despair and jealousy. Estelle opened her mouth then closed it in embarrassment. Harry cleared his throat , she expected him to shun her out of his life just like everybody else; her father did, her mother did, everybody at Hogwarts has, he would just be added to a long list of people.
"She is my friend." He stated plainly as if there was nothing wrong with it.
"What do you mean she is a death eater, not to mention the scum of the earth." He growled. Hot tears were now rolling down her cheeks, creating a red hue on the end of her nose and cheeks.
'He isn't wrong...
I am the daughter of a death eater, that's as good as it gets...
I am scum, bottom of the barrel...'
"Did I ever judge you?" Harry raised his voice slightly. Ron looked completely stumped.
"Did I judge you when Malfoy was calling you a blood traitor? Did I judge Hermione when Malfoy called her a m-m you know what?" He asked. Ron stood there still in a defensive stance.
"I like her, she is my friend. She doesn't have to be yours but you will respect her and my decision." Harry now grabbed her chin, her stroked her cheek with his thumb; wiping the tears of her face. The boy grabbed her hand then ran off to Hagrid's hut.
"Y-you really didn't have to, I know they are your friends..." Rose started.
"Didn't you hear me... You are my friend!" He interjected smiling at the girl.
"Alrighty kids gather round everybody!" Hagrid boomed.
