"I'll sort him out, don't worry..." Draco added vaguely. Rose was too sad to contemplate what Malfoy could mean.

'Does Harry really think I'm gross'

'Was he being my friend out of sympathy'

Her depressing thought process was destroyed by a tall honey blonde Hufflepuff.

"Hello, the name's Cedric!" He introduced confidentiality.

"I'm Estelle but people usually call me El or Rose." She answered, baring half of his enthusiasm.

"Sorry if I came off as... well intimidating. I just noticed you crying so-" Cedric started, rubbing the nape of his neck.

"Nonsense!" She exclaimed. "Just the right amount of enthusiasm, I'm just not... happy at the moment." The Hufflepuff laughed at this, El must admit he is quite charming.

"Well that can all change, can't it." He winked. Rose chuckled at his futile attempts at flirting. They both noticed the uproar in chatter and the bustling crowd approaching them; the feast was over.

"Well I better see you at the Hufflepuff table tomorrow!" He beamed. El was conflicted on whether she was allowed to sit at his table.

"Don't worry! I'm sure you'll fit right in with the Puffs." He joked. "Until tomorrow, Rose." The blonde haired boy was happily skipping to his common room, she laughed and shook her head at his child like behaviour. She was about to walk out of the Great hall, when Dumbledore appeared behind her.

"I see my little El isn't so little anymore!" The bearded man teased. Everybody turned to the odd pair.

"Hey! Uncle Dumby we made a promise: no embarrassing me!" She warned, shaking her fist in the air threateningly.

"El and C-" He started.

"I'll tell Minnie." Rose hissed jokingly.

"You wouldn't!" He cried. "She'll take my snacks away."

"Thought so."

"El and Cedric sitting on a tree, K - I - S - S - I - N - G" He blurted out as fast as he could. Fortunately, he said it so fast nobody around them could understand what he was saying.

"MINNIE!" El bellowed, turning her face Weasley hair red. McGonagall had now walked over to Rose.

"What seems to be the problem dearie." Minerva asked.

"Bumblebee over there is embarrassing me." The black haired girl stated, crossing her arms as a way to signify her frustration. Minnie sighed.

"Would you like me to tell her about the time at the Three broomsticks?" She hit his arm with a spare piece of parchment. Dumbledore's face turned a bright red.

"I doubt that is necessary." He stated, straightening his purple robes. Minnie rose an eyebrow.

"Fine! What do you want..." Uncle Dumby sounded exasperated. Minerva stuck her hand out in a straightforward way. The old man sighed then pulled out two bags of Sherbet lemons and three chocolate frogs from his right pocket. McGonagall simply tapped her foot impatiently. He then reached into his left pocket only to pull out half a dozen sugar quills. The woman still stood there, now mumbling about something about Fire whiskey and Madam Rosemerta being in shock. Dumbledore then took off his hat to reveal a bag of peppermint imps.

"Is that all... Because you three seem to be causing a scene." Snape sneered making the trio realise the hall of children who were now staring at them. Minnie and Albus both trotted out of the hall, whereas El was grabbed from her shoulders to the back of the crowd.

"Umm are you okay?" Harry asked, releasing his grip around her shoulder. "I noticed you talking to a Hufflepuff..."

"I perfectly fine!" Rose huffed.

"What's wrong, you seem a bit off." Harry was now holding her hand in his.

"Nothing is wrong." She lied through gritted teeth, sounding harsh. She brushed his hand off hers.

"Okay you're being weird... Come to me when you've grown up" The green eyed boy spat, walking away towards a huddle of Gryffindor's who were waiting for him. El chucked sadistically.

"I'm not the childish one out of us two!" She hissed back, venom imbedded in her voice. He looked back with disgust.

"Yeah?" He replied. "What did I do except make you feel welcomed." Something clicked inside of her, she doesn't want to be walked all over; time to show him that snakes bite too.

"Seems like you've got nothing to say." He walked off again.

"If making me feel comfortable was being a two faceted, flirtatious, prejudiced sociopath with a saviour complex you succeeded." She snarled in a dangerously cold manner. Harry looked at her, once he wanted to reply he was too shocked. She felt a pair if eyes burning holes at the back of her head, she turned around and saw Draco smirking at her. She gave him a small smile then ran off the the Slytherin common room.

'Tomorrow is another day...'
