Umbridge was starting to take more control everyday. She had fired professor Trelany and was trying to banish her from the grounds but luckily Dumbledore had stopped her from doing that. And it's feeling as though Dumbledore is ignoring Harry and me completely. It's almost as if we only have each other now, and Hermione and Ron of course.

"We have to defend ourselves, if Umbridge refuses to teach us how, we'll find someone who will." Hermione says.
"Who?" Ron says. Hermione looks at him like he's stupid.
"Them. They've both done more than any of us. They know how to defend themselves pretty well."
"Wait, what makes you think people will want to be taught by us?" I ask.
"You guys know how." Hermione says. I look at Harry. I sigh.
"Fine, but if we get in trouble its your fault." I say.

. . .

We end up meeting up. There's a bunch of us. Why did I agree?
"So we're all here because we need a proper teacher, someone who's had real experiences fighting." Hermione finally says.
"Why?" Nigel asks.
"Because he's back." Ron says as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.
"They say." He says.
"Says Dumbledore." Ron says. Oh no.
"Says Dumbledore because they say. If either of them were to tell us more about how Cedric died." I've had enough.
"We're not going to talk about Cedric, so if that's why you're here clear out now." I say. They all go quiet realizing the line they crossed.

"Is it true you can produce a pratronus charm?" Luna asks breaking the silence.
"Yes they can, I've seen it." Hermione says.
"Blimey, didn't know you could do that."
"Harry killed the basilisk, with the sword in Dumbledore's office." Ron says.
"Third-year, they fought about a hundred Dementors at once together." Hermione says.
"Last year, they really did fight He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named in the flesh."
"And, they really watched Cedric die in front of them." Hermione throws me a glace. It hurts but I have to stop letting it bother me.

"Look, it sounds great when you put it like that, but the truth is, most of that was just luck. We didn't know what we were doing half the time. We nearly always had help." Harry says. I nod in agreement.
"They're just being modest." Hermione says.
"No, Hermione we're not. Facing this stuff in real life is not like in school. In school you make a mistake you can try again tomorrow. Out there right before you're being murdered or watching a person you care for die right before your eyes. You don't know what that's like." I say letting it all out.
"That's why we need you." She says.
"He's really back?" I nod.

They all end up writing their name on our "Dumbledore's Army"

. . .

Neville ended up finding the Room of Requirements and that's where we'll be training.

I've been trying to stay away from the devil herself, Umbridge, but she always finds a way to get me.

We're all at dinner, sitting down about to start eating, well except for Ron who's halfway done with his first plate.
"You know, if you keep eating that fast you're going to get sick, Ronald." Hermione says yelling at Ron. Harry and I look at each other laughing. We have wanted them together since forever now. I pick up a bite. click clack. Umbridge. Why am I not surprised? She starts walking towards her seat, occasionally saying things. She stops by us.

"Miss Potter," She says. Shit. "That's a lot of food don't you think?" Oh bloody hell.
"No. Not really." I say.
"Well, for you then. You should look into a diet and workout routine." She says in her squeaky voice. By now everyone is staring at us and listening in. I scoff.
"Like yours?" I ask. She leans in close to my face.
"Detention, after dinner." She says. "Oh and Mr. Weasley clean up your mess." She walks off.

"Don't listen to her." Hermione says. I smile softly. I just stare at my food, no longer hungry.
"Y/n, eat." Harry says.
"Not hungry." I say pushing my plate away and walking off.

I go into the Room of Requirement. I just start throwing some spells at the dummy in front of me. I'm so done with her. I'm so done with everything.
"Expeliarmus!" I yell disarming it again. It throws something at me which I easily duck. "Reducto!" It gets really small. I start to hear noises from outside. Dinner is ending. I start to walk away leaving the dummy to go back to normal.

I leave without being seen. I start walking to Umbridge's office. Draco and his friends walk by my. They stop. No, please not now.
"So, what's it like to lie to everyone?" Draco asks.
"Look Malfoy, I'm not lying, but you can believe whatever the hell you want. Now I have to go have detention with Umbridge." I say walking away.

I get to her office and walk in. It's all the same. She looks at me and smiles sending chills down my spine. I take a seat and there's no ink again. Great.
"What should I write?" I ask.
"I shall not disrespect Professors." She says. I hold back a sigh as I start to write. The pain comes quick. I go on for over an hour. My hand red and bleeding.

I walk back to the common room. Hermione runs up to me. She tries to talk to me, but I walk into my dorm. I run to the side of my bed and grab a cloth. I clean up the blood and go to lay down.

There's a plate with snacks and a note: "since you missed dinner." I put the note down. I look at the plate, there are many kinds on it. Who would give this to me? Probably a professor or something. I move the plate and get comfortable. I look at the snacks and sigh before giving in and eating some.

(A.n: ugh I despise Umbridge so much. also who do you think gave her the plate...
