Continuation from part six
My eyes fluttered opened and yesterday flooded back into my mind. I wanted to cry, but I had to move on with my life.
I got up off the floor and saw that Blake had already left. I went into my bathroom and brushed my teeth and brushed my hair into a perfect ponytail unlike me. I put on pink lip gloss and went to go put on some clothes.
I chose a pink dress that stopped at my knees. I went back into my bathroom and put some white eye shadow on. I put in my silver hoops and got my phone.
I got the crushed-up card on my dresser and dialled the number.
"Hello?" came Bryce's voice.
"Hey, Bryce! it's me, Dixie. Blakes girlfriend."
"Oh, hey! I thought you threw away my number!"
I laughed.
"Never, Bryce."
"So, what's up? come to give me tabs n your secret relationship?"
"Sure. How about we do it over some coffee?"
Bryce laughed.
"That sounded wrong but ok. Which coffee shop?"
I rolled my eyes.
"Annie's."
"Annie's, alright."
I went into my mom's room to check if she was still there. I needed her car.
There she was, sound asleep.
I smiled and kissed her on her forehead and went for the keys.
I got into the car and drove to Annie's.
On the way all I could think about was Noah. I know I cut him from my life, but still, I do love him. A lot. But, it isn't right.
I reached Annie's and I got out of the car and went into the shop. The smell of milk and coffee made me smile. I caught Byrce in the corner of the store, looking at his phone.
I smiled. He probably thought I stood him up.
I walked over to the table and sat down.
"Hey, Byrce."
He smiled.
"Hey."
"So, you really want to know about my little love triangle?"
"Hell to the yes."
I laughed and blasted off.
I told him about Kylie and em and Noah having sex. Then, I told him about my feelings for Blake and then having sex with him, too.
"Wow, you got a lot going on. It sounds so fun."
He smiled.
I laughed.
"It sounds fun. But, it isn't. I hurt my best friend, well former best friend, and my boyfriend."
I looked down at my fingers.
"Well hey, don't cry. I don't like seeing people cry."
I looked up at him and smiled.
"I'm not."
"It looked like it."
I sighed.
"What should I do?"
"I have no clue."
"Of course not. Nobody I know has been through this situation."
"Same."
