Their trip to Qinghe is so awkward. They are riding in the same car yet no one ever speak. After reaching there, they stayed on the car for no reason. Maybe they are tired in the trip or they are just spending some silent time. They wouldn't have get off the car if no one knock on the window asking for money.

Jiang Cheng was about to give a money to the beggar when the beggar suddenly pull him and point a knife on his neck. Lan Xichen tried to help, but someone knock him off. "Who the hell are you?!" Jiang Cheng yelled.

The people who witnessed, did nothing but ignore them. Now he knows why this place is a big no to tourist. "go to sleep" the man said and knock him off as well.

Jiang Cheng groaned as he felt his head hurt. He widen his eyes when he realize that they are not near in the car anymore. His hands are tide as well as his feet. Jiang Cheng tried to lossened the tie but someone held his hands and it was no other than Lan Xichen.

"Even if we can get rid of it, there's a lot of them outside, they will kill you if you do" Lan Xichen weakly uttered and lean the back his head on Jiang Cheng's shoulder. They are sitting back to back. Jiang Cheng sighed as he close his eyes to think.

"Did they took away our guns?" Jiang Cheng asked gently. "They did" Lan Xichen answered as he fake a smile.

"You sound so weak, what the hell did they do to you?" The worries in his voice, it's clear. Jiang Cheng never been this worried to someone he just know but he somehow felt so familiar with Lan Xichen. He just don't know why? "They beat me badly because they recognize me"

"Recognize you?"

"They were the one who killed my parents, now they are planning on killing us too. Another reason, why they beat me, I didn't tell them where Wangji is living" Lan Xichen chuckle in both pain and anger.

Flashback

"If you don't tell us where your little brother is, we will kill this man" the man uttered and point the gun on Jiang Cheng's head. "Just kill me if you want" Lan Xichen smirk as he fearlessly stared at the two. "My partner isn't someone you can easily kill. You have to get to me first" The man earlier hit his head using the handle of the gun hardly. But Lan Xichen didn't even cried in pain. Instead, he laugh like a madman.

"Do you think you are stonger than me? Dream on. Have you already forgotten who am I?" Lan Xichen laugh once again and wickedly look at them. He wipe the blood on his lips and stood up but he fall back to the cold floor.

"You should always remember that I am ready to lose my lisence just to kill all of you" The man kick him so hard and then he ordered his men to tied Lan Xichen back to his chair.

End of flashback

(reminder: he didn't tell this to Jiang Cheng)

"I really want to get rid of this" Jiang Cheng used his strength to slowly get rid of the rope, tied in his wrist. After few minutes, the tie lossened so Jiang Cheng immediately untied Lan Xichen. He look at him pityfully as he touch Lan Xichen's cheeks.

"You are really beaten badly." He said and Lan Xichen smile as he brush his cheeks on Jiang Cheng's palm.

"Does it hurt?" Jiang Cheng asked caringly. "It does, but it isn't now that you are touching it" Lan Xichen answered

Inside Jiang Cheng, he feels a great anger to everyone behind that black door? He wants to open the door and kill those people outside this room. His face is dark as the rain clouds but in his eyes, you can clearly see that he just want to protect Lan Xichen so badly.

It may not be normal to hear but he's in love with his partner. We all know that. He just can't accept because he's a man and not a girl but dude, man can also fall in love with a man. Destiny is really unpredictable. We sometimes feel like we like this person but our hearts felt nothing and sometimes we think that we don't like them but the truth is, we are just preventing ourselves from liking them. Just like how Jiang Cheng is doing right now. He always convince himself that he doesn't like a man but look, he's obviously inlove with Lan Xichen.

"You have the strength to fight back, why didn't you fight them?" Jiang Cheng asked once again

"If I fight back, they will hurt you" Jiang Cheng gasped in surprise. Not because Lan Xichen is badly beaten, but because Lan Xichen didn't fight back just to protect him. His heart, beats faster than before like it's going to explode in any seconds. He unconsciously blushed and take his hand away from Lan Xichen's cheeks, he then look away because of embarrassment.

"Let me see your face" Lan Xichen held his chin and mad him look back to Lan Xichen. Lan Xichen smile as he lean closer to observe the man's beauty in a closer look. Jiang Cheng blushed ever more but didn't dare to move away. He wants it, his body needs Lan Xichen's soft touches. I mean, who wouldn't want to be touch by a man who's beauty is ethereal.

"You are really beautiful" Lan Xichen chuckle and let go of Jiang Cheng as he move away to give Jiang Cheng a space. But Jiang Cheng on the other side, wants more. 'Fuck, I want more' Jiang Cheng thought and he look over to Lan Xichen. It's like he's pleading for more touch. 'Why am I like this?!'

Jiang Cheng keep asking himself without the other knowing. Those touches, it brings heaven to him but he's trapped in hell.

(Not the real hell ok. The hell I mean is a cage of in denial and heaven is the care free love.)
