It's been a week since they started investigating about Nightless Gang but they haven't found any clue yet. This is the hardest part of the police when they are investigating. They have to find clues and make reports to their superior when they found one.

About Jiang Cheng and his parents. Jiang Cheng stayed distance to his parents even to his sister, niece and nephew. Jiang Cheng will just talk to his father about their investigation and after that, he continue working again. Wei Wuxian and Huiasang also feel like Jiang Cheng is avoiding them. He don't talk to them anymore and he leaves earlier than usual.

"This is getting to long, They are not in Qinghe and they are also not in Qishan. Where the hell can we find clues?" Jiang Cheng sighed and bang his table. They are in their station right now to check some file. Everyone was in shock because of his sudden burst out. Lan Xichen worriedly look at him while sitting on Jiang Cheng's table. "You hit it too hard, is your hand okay?" He worriedly asked

Jiang Cheng showed him his red palm.  Lan Xichen pull it and flicked it as he glared at Jiang Cheng. "Let go" Jiang Cheng tried to pull his hand back but Lan Xichen is too strong. Everyone noticed it and started murmuring about them. Except Wei Wuxian and Huiasang who is dying to hang out with Jiang Cheng again.

"Don't even dare to bang something that hard again" Lan Xichen sternly said and finally let go of him. Lan Xichen took the file again and read it.

"How about we go to Yi city?" Lan Xichen suggested and let Jiang Cheng read the file on his hands. Jiang Cheng read it and slowly nodded. He look at Lan Xichen and hit him with the file with no reasons.

"Why did you hit me?" Lan Xichen asked confusedly. "Let's go" Jiang Cheng stood up and pull him but Lan Xichen stopped. "Wait, why so sudden? We can go tomorrow" Lan Xichen uttered.

"They look like a married couple" a random police whispered to his friend. "Yeah" his friend agreed and chuckle.

"It's either we go now or you'll go by yourself tomorrow" Jiang Cheng replied to Lan Xichen and eagerly stomping his feet. Lan Xichen sighed and just let Jiang Cheng go for his decision. There is no way he can win against this man. He maybe stronger than Jiang Cheng but Jiang Cheng knows how to make him like an under husband to his wife.

"They got more closer than we used to" Wei Wuxian sadly uttered and pouted as he look to Huiasang. "Maybe he just need more time to think." Huiasang replied and write something on his report book. "But it's been a week" Wei Wuxian grumbled as he cutely look over to Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji look away as he blushed hardly.

"Wei-xiong, I'm also worried that he might not talk to us anymore but we have to understand him" Huiasang patted Wei Wuxian in the back. Wei Wuxian nodded slowly and turn back his gaze to the news report he us reading.

"Hello, this is Yunmeng Station, How can we help you?" A random police officer answered the call.

"May I know your name ma'am?" She asked when the phone caller speak.

"Officer Wei, someone wants to talk to you" Wei Wuxian was puzzled as he walk to where his co-officer is. He took the phone and asked the person who wants to talk to him.

It turns out to be the person he is finding for over 21 years. He shakingly breath as he tighten his grips on the phone. He put down the phone and go back to his table. His eyes are so red like he is about to cry or he is trying hard not to cry. Huiasang got worried but didn't say anything. he just patted Wei Wuxian's back.

On the other side, Lan Xichen is driving Jiang Cheng's car, just driving it in the normal speed. While Jiang Cheng keep on bothering him. Lan Xichen knows that Jiang Cheng just want to get his attention like what he used to do when they were still in their nursery year. Jiang Cheng already knows that he is the man who promised to marry and never leave him. "Can we eat there?" Jiang Cheng asked as he pointed the restaurant in front of the road. Lan Xichen stop the car on the side without answering the question.

They get off the car and went to the restaurant. The one who welcomed them thought that they are a couple but they are honestly just a friends. Though they have already kissed and often flirt with each other. In short, friends with benefits. They can't call themselves a couple because both are not sure if they really like each other or they are just confused about their feelings.

"Good day sir, may I know your order?" The waiter asked politely as he bowed

"Szechuan Chicken and Braised Pork Balls in gravy" Jiang Cheng uttered

"Hunan Pork will go" Lan Xichen added. "How about drinks sir?" the waiter asked

"Two Chivas with green tea" Lan Xichen answered and smile at the waiter. The waiter left after taking their orders. Lan Xichen turn his gaze to Jiang Cheng and winked. Jiang Cheng blushed hardly yet he didn't look away.

Somebody in the corner is itching to sit with them and flirt with Lan Xichen. Now the question is, Why does every girls want to flirt with Lan Xichen? The woman couldn't take it anymore so he approach them and even tried to act like a shy girl who just want to join them.

"Ahmm, hi, I am really sorry to interrupt you two but can I sit with you guys?" She asked and lower her head. Jiang Cheng didn't like it but he keep silent and just stare at the girl blandly.

"Sure" Lan Xichen answered politely at the girl. "Btw I am Wang Lingjiao" She introduced herself and offer a handshake to Lan Xichen but Lan Xichen didn't take it and never did thought of doing handshake with strangers. Jiang Cheng knows that this girl is trying to flirt with Lan Xichen so his blood boils. He thought of a best idea to make the girl leave.

"I think I should just leave the both of you so that you can finally have your first date" Jiang Cheng sarcastically uttered as he force a smile which end up as a smile of a killer. A murderous smile, in short.

Lan Xichen hold his hand and made him sit back. "What are you talking about Jiang Cheng? You can't just leave whenever you want" Lan Xichen said

He sounds like a pet owner who doesn't want his pet to go anywhere. "Then entertain me, I feel like a third wheel here" Jiang Cheng intentionally replied and stomp his feet. Lan Xichen somehow understand Jiang Cheng's idea though Jiang Cheng didn't told him, Lan Xichen smiled and kiss Jiang Cheng's eyes. Some of the costumers and workers was happy for them and support them silently but some aren't okay with it, including Wang Lingjiao.

"You can never be the third wheel my wife" Lan Xichen sweetly and hoarsely said as he kissed Jiang Cheng's cheeks. This play takes a great attention of the people in outside and in the inside. They look like a sweet couple but no one knows that they are a police officers. This is not Yunmeng so no one knows who they are.
