They got out of the secret room and was shock when they saw Song Lan and Xue Yang. "Do you want to get revenge?" Xue Yang look at them with serious gaze.

"How--"

"We will cover you up to get your revenge, all you need to do is prepare yourself. We will also help you track their location" Xue Yang cut Jiang Cheng's word off. Song Lan on the other side is just nodding his head without any hesitation.

"You are also a police, do you want to lose your licence?" Lan Xichen confusedly asked them as he titled his head

"Chief Jiang hired us to protect you two, no matter what happen. We lied about being an undercover police officers." Song Lan calmly answered Lan Xichen and smile

"He hired you?" Jiang Cheng shakingly breathed in shock. He couldn't believe on what he just heard. He never thought of his father caring for his safety. "Who else would hire us?" Xue Yang chuckle and shook his head and then patted Jiang Cheng's shoulder.

"So who do you want to kill first?" Xue Yang asked.

"Wait a minute, if my father hired you and Xue Yang, then why did he mentioned Xue Yang as one of the Superior in Nightless Gang?" Jiang Cheng quickly point his gun in Xue Yang's head.

"Yeah I am one of the superior when Wen Ruohan was still alive but I left when he died" Xue Yang answered

"Your father must have a poor memory that he forgot to say I am not one of them anymore" Xue Yang added as he shook his head and smile.

"Hmm, Let's continue talking tomorrow, I'm tired" Jiang Cheng then pull Lan Xichen with him

"Does he know that Jiang Yanli and Wei Wuxian had visit here first?" Song Lan asked to his partner who's just crossing his arms while his face is still as creepy as ever. "Let's just see on how they will get their revenge" Xue Yang replied as he chuckle wickedly on his own, while Song Lan just shook his head and clicked his tongue.

"Come on Song Lan, It's not like I'm planning something terrible" Xue Yang said when he notice the slight disagreement in Song Lan's face. "Whatever? let's just cover them" Song Lan then went outside of the room and head to his car. Xue Yang followed him as he frowned.

"Just because he's Xiao Xingchen's lover, it doesn't mean he can always do this to me" Xue Yang grumble on his own as he entered on the passenger seat. 'A-qing, why do you even choose this man to be Xiao Xingchen's lover?' Xue Yang thought and internally sighed in frustration.

"Why are you home so early?" Jin Guang Yao asked as he lean to kiss the older on his lips. Nie Mingjue wrapped his arms around the younger's waist and huskily said, "I just miss you"

Jin Guang Yao blushed hardly. No matter how long they have been together, Jin Guang Yao would still blushed whenever Nie Mingjue would do or say anything flowery or used his deep tone voice. Love can make you go crazy.

"So how is your investigation, did you already find a clue of the person who hired those who attack Jiang Cheng's house?" Jin Guang Yao concernly asked

"So far, I haven't found any clue yet. Jiang Siblings and Wei Wuxian were pretty quite and busy, I don't know what are they doing but they seems to know something" Nie Mingjue answered as he let go of the younger and change his clothes. Jin Guang Yao just look at him confusedly. "If they know something, why didn't they said anything?"

"I just hope it's nothing serious or about revenge" Nie Mingjue uttered as he shrugged his shoulder and went to sit on the sofa. Jin Guangyao also sit beside him.
