Jin Ling is hesitating on wether he should tell Jingyi or not. He is so nervous that he didn't heard that Jingyi is calling him. He saw that Jingyi is approaching him together with Shizhui.

A cold sweat run down on Jin Ling's cheeks. "Aiyaa, why are you so pale princess?" Jingyi is such a tease, he started making fun of Jin Ling while Shizhui just shook his head.

"I'll just go to the restroom" Shizhui excused himself and made his way inside. The three didn't go to Jiang Cheng's birthday and just stayed in Jin Ling's house.

Jingyi keeps teasing Jin Ling and that made Jin Ling irretates so he think of a best idea to make Jingyi shut up. He seems nervous but still did it. He pull Jingyi and kiss him.

Shizhui just got out from the restroom when he saw Jingyi and Jin Ling kissing while their feet on the pool. He shakingly took a step backward in pain.

"I already know that he like Jingyi and not me but why does it still hurt?" Shizhui clenched his heart and run away. After entering the cab, he texted them that he's not feeling well so he get back home.

Shizhui cried painfully after he got home and went to his room.

There are things that we expect to happen but we still got hurt when it will actually happen. Shizhui is hurt and felt like betrayed by his own cousin but he love the both and he doesn't want to blame them that he got hurt. Firstly, Jin Ling is not his lover. Secondly, Jin Ling likes Jingyi and Thirdly, Jingyi is his cousin. He has no reason to hate them just because he is hurt.

-------Jiang Cheng's house.

"A-cheng" Jiang Cheng stop on what he is doing and look over to the person who called him and it turns out to be his sister.

"I don't know how you get this wound but please do be careful next time" Jiang Yanli warmly smile as she help dressing Jiang Cheng's wound. After dressing up his wound, Jiang Cheng spoke.

"A-jie, I have to tell you something" Jiang Cheng lowered his head to hide his face.

"What is it A-cheng?" Jiang Yanli asked gently as she smile. "I'm in love with my partner" Jiang Cheng answered shyly while Jiang Yanli smile widely as she patted Jiang Cheng's head. "No matter whom you will love and take care of, I will always support you" Jiang Yanli replied.

Jiang Cheng was about to reply when they heard a gunshot downstairs. He quickly took his gun that was put on his drawer, near his bed. He run very quickly downstairs and saw that his mother is fighting alongside with his father. The other guns that was displayed in the transparent glass were taken by Xue Yang, Song Lan and Lan Xichen. Well they forgot to bring back their guns. He joined them and started firing those men.

"They are coming for us" Lan Xichen whispered to him as soon as they have each other back.

"I know" Jiang Cheng replied and drag Lan Xichen behind the stair case. Jiang Cheng look over to everyone and saw her mother being hit and his father protecting Yu Ziyuan. He run over to them and fire the men who is attacking them. "Dad, I'll ta--" Jiang Cheng was cut off when his mother push him on the side and took the bullet instead. His father was in anger that he run outside to advert their attention. He got hit multiple times.

Jiang Cheng cried and hug her mother tightly. "Retreat" One of the men shouted and they run away together.

Jin Zixuan called an ambulance while Jiang Yanli and her daughter came down and run to them. Wei Wuxian went closer to Jiang Cheng and Yu Ziyuan. "Wei Wu---Xian! Tta...ake care offff my grrrrrandchi-..childeeren and my children" Yu Ziyuan sputtered in her last breath

"Mom, mom" Jiang Cheng keep calling Yu Ziyuan while Jiang Yanli and We Wuxian just cried. Minutes later, the ambulance and police arrived. They treat Jiang Cheng's now open wound because of too much move and strength he used.

They also treated the other's wound. His parents was sent directly to the hospital. They were dead but they have to be check by the doctors in the morgue of the hospital. That incident will never fade in Jiang Siblings mind. Today is suppose to be a happy day because today is Jiang Cheng's birthday.

Lan Xichen made his way to Jiang Cheng and hug him immediately. Jiang Cheng started crying again painfully. Wei Wuxian and Jiang Yanli on the other side is helping the others on cleaning. After Jiang Cheng stop crying he look around and rolled his eyes.

"There's no need to clean this house, Just demolish this house." Jiang Cheng coldly said that made them stop. Jiang Cheng then, went to the garden at the back of his house and sit down on the grass. Lan Xichen followed him as he smiled unsurely and sadly.

"Where will you live now if you want to demolish your house?" Lan Xichen asked concernly as he sit down with him.

"I don't no" Jiang Cheng answered and lower his head. "Then live with me" Lan Xichen replied

Jiang Cheng look at him and hug him as a thank you hug. Jiang Cheng was surprised when a key fell on the grass so he let go of the hug and then he took the key that his parents gave him earlier. He smiled and kiss the key.

"Let's go check the car on the garage" Jiang Cheng said as he pull Lan Xichen on their way to his garage. When he open it, he saw the sport car that his father mentioned. He opened it and enter the car. He check everything until a paper envelope fell on him. He checked it and it turns out to be a letter. Jiang Cheng got out of the car and read the letter.

His tears started to come down running again.

"A-cheng, we may be a bad parents as what you often thought but you should always remember, your mother and I will always be here to love and protect you. We never did wanted what happened last week. It's just we're worried that sooner or later, our life will end without witnessing your wedding. The enemies that we have encounter several years ago is back is back. If ever something happens to us, go to my study room, find the red book and you'll know everything about your mission and about the enemy. Son I am not telling you this just to ruin your birthday, but I am telling you this to keep you alert of what will going to happen in the future. Aside from that, I want to say sorry for forcing you to do the things you've never wanted to do, for making you feel like you are a puppet. And thank you for being a good and strong man of our family. If I could go back to the time when you were young, I will show you and your siblings more attention and love. I will cherish every moment we have together as a family. You can hate us as much as you want but please son, don't hate your siblings. They love you as much as we do. Happy birthday A-cheng, always remember that we all love you"

Jiang Cheng hug the letter and keep saying "I love you dad and mom, I'm sorry" Lan Xichen rubbed his back to comfort him. Jiang Cheng is out of tears now, he wanted to cry but his eyes is so tired. He wanted to scream but his mouth won't cooperate. He wanted to hurt himself physically but he can't and he won't do it. He has to find out who's behind all this.
