"You guys should go first!" Everyone tried persuading Ishan and me.
"Yes yes!" Riya laughed and tried pushing us to the front.
Kamlesh and Ash have their Sangeet today and it's time for all the dance performances. As usual, we're getting targeted for being the first ones to sway our bodies.
"Okay okay." Ishan giggled and extended his hand towards me.
I placed mine in his safe ones and he then walked me towards the centre of the open banquet.
Everything about this place seems so beautiful and perfect. Yet, I'm very nervous.
There are so many people here and we're being filmed too. I feel shy.
"Don't be nervous." Ishan whispered while pushing a strand of hair behind my ear.
He understands me so well and is always so caring. He's the sweetest ever.
"Thanks Ishan." I nervously smiled.
Soon our song Sweetheart started playing and everybody fixated their eyes upon us.
I was really nervous at first but slowly diverted my attention entirely towards dancing.
We had practiced our steps beforehand and today our dance has turned out much better than all our previous ones. I'm glad we didn't embarass ourselves in front of us so many guests.
