Ishan's viewpoint :
Buzzzzz.
I felt my mobile vibrate on the island while preparing coffee for myself.
After picking it up, I saw the caller's name. Its Raj bhaiya.
"Hey bro." I greeted him after answering.
"Hi Ishan. Tumne new applicants ki interview li thi na, jise bhi select karna hai uski profile bhej do." He demanded.
"Oh yes, I'll send today." I assured him and then hung up.
Once my coffee was prepared, I poured it in a mug and carried it to my bedroom.
I'm always really curious regarding my brother's company so this time I visited, in order to interview the candidates. This always seemed like a fun task to me, and so was it.
I met so many people, most of whom were going crazy on meeting me. There were some who even introduced themselves as my die hard fans.
However, there was one person who really caught my eye. She's something different.
Samikhya Mohapatra; I read the name on her profile while going through the list of interviewees.
Instantly, her images from the day she met me in the office started appearing in my memory. She's so gorgeous, gifted with great academic skills and a sweet voice.
If only you weren't so sassy Samikhya..
You refused to recognize me huh? Or are you really not aware of who I am?
Whatever the case may be, you're gonna have to pay for it. Playing mind games with me has consequences, you must know.
Shubman's viewpoint :
I sighed heavily while putting on my seat belt and then started driving towards Anushree's apartment.
After many requests made by mumma, of meeting Anushree's family, I gave up. I don't feel like arguing with her, she's the person I'm closest to.
The only options I'm left with are either rejecting the marriage proposal myself or requesting Anushree to do so.
I reluctantly drove over to the location Anushree has sent us. Soon, we reached the place and took the elevator to go upstairs.
Everyone who saw me passing by was staring deeply at me, which is nothing new. People always behave this way when they spot me anywhere.
On reaching her flat, mumma rung the doorbell and Anushree's parents welcomed us. I touched their feet and they granted me many blessings.
"Anu!" Anushree's mother called out for her, after gesturing us to make ourselves comfortable.
I seated myself on a sofa and then saw Anushree approaching us with some beverages. She placed them on the center table and then touched the feet of my parents, to take their blessings.
Meanwhile, I scrutinized her appearance from top to bottom. She's dressed up traditionally, just like a typical Indian girl.
Ugh, I'm hating all this so much. She doesn't fit my type or standards in any way. She's way too cultured, she doesn't compliment me.
All the girls I've dated in past have been the modest. They might just have been a time pass to me but at least they matched my standards and class.
I strongly dislike sticking to one person or commitments. I date girls but I haven't fallen in love yet and I probably won't ever.
I wonder how and why I'm in a situation where I have to even think about marrying a girl at this age, and that too being an arranged one.
