Samikhya's viewpoint :

"Please Samikhya." Ishan begged me for an apology but I ran away with tears in my eyes.

I usually try putting up a strong front always, hardly cry or make myself look weak for this harsh world.

Being an independent lady, all by myself in this big city can be hard at times but still, those things have never made me cry.

In Ishan, I used to see someone who understands me, whom I can feel close to despite of the short time span that we've spent together.

He made me feel like his friend, but today I understood the difference between our realities.

Our worlds are far different from each other's and being a part of the other's can't happen.

I never requested him for any favours and yet his words made me feel like he thinks of me as an opportunist. I'm really hurt at his behaviour.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I heard a familiar voice and looked up to see Raghav questioning me.

"I'm not in a mood to talk." I told him softly and then turned around.

"Samikhya, its doesn't feel good to see you crying. Come, I'll lighten up your mood." Raghav said while holding my wrist and turned my face towards him.

"Please, I don't want to-" I was requesting but got cut off by Raghav hushing me.

I quickly wiped off my tears as he dragged me towards the dance stage where many couple including the newly engaged ones were doing their steps.

All of them are looking so happy, unlike me who's eyes are searching for that one particular person and he's nowhere to be seen.

Raghav placed his hand on my bare waist, reminding of Ishan's words again.

"That's my territory, I don't want anyone else to fall for it."

"I don't.. like to dance.." I excused myself from his grip.

"Come on Sam, we just have to sway our body to the tunes." Raghav tried persuading me.

I sighed and gave up. There's no point indulging myself in another argument today, I've already had enough.

I just thought of teasing Ishan by taking Raghav's name and that led us to this stage. Now I'll just go with the flow.

I placed my hand on Raghav's shoulder and we moved our foot in sync. All the time my mind was just stuck at something else.

I can't do this anymore.

"Excuse me." I said to Raghav and ran out towards the entrance.

Tears started escaping my eyes again as I stopped by a wooden swing on the empty side.

Why did Ishan have to behave so rude with me?

It was easy for me to utter the words that I don't wish to work for him anymore but it wouldn't be so easy to imply.
