It was a new week at riverdale high

Monday morning
Toni POV

I just got to school and went into the student lounge to find Cheryl sitting alone on a chair scrolling through Instagram or something so I decided to scare her as no one else was in there yet

I crept up behind her and put my hands on her shoulders and shouted "BOOOO"
She screamed and turned around "oh my god T.T you idiot"
"Sorry Cher" I giggled
"Stop laughing"she frowned and pouted 
"Sowwy it's funny" I said trying to stop
"Ugh your so mean"she said and looked back at her phone
"No hello Toni and no hug either I'm quiet offended" I said and put my head and her shoulder as I was still behind her
"You decided to scare me actually"she said and leaned her head on mine
"So if I say sorry I get a hug"I asked
"Maybe or maybe not"she teased
"Meanie" I pouted
"Oh come here you big baby"she said and got up and opened her arms
I giggled and hugged her so tight "god I missed you Cher"
"Feelings mutual topaz"

she said and pulled away and sat on the sofa and I sat beside her
"What's so interesting on your phone"I said coz it was glued to her hand
"Oh nothing"she said I noticed a tear on her cheek
"Are you okay" I said and grabbed her hand intertwining our fingers
"I'll be okay T.T"she said with a small smile
"Do you want to talk about it"i asked as she was still sad
"Okay so it's been 8 years since my twin brother Jason died"she said and broke down
"Oh my god I'm so sorry"I said and pulled her into a hug
"I miss him so much"she said and hugged me tighter and cried
"Shhh it's okay" I said and pulled her out of the hug
"Your the best T.T"she said and smiled
"Only for you blossom"I said and she giggled
"So what were u looking at on your phone"I asked and put my arm around her
"Just pictures"she said and put her head on my shoulder
"Of you and Jason"I asked while rubbing her arm with my hand that's was wrapped around her
"Yeah he was the best brother"she said and smiled
"Mind if I see the pictures bet you were cute" I said and tickled her side
She giggled "yes of course Toni" she said and got her phone out and showed me some pictures

"Awww Cheryl your so cute"I said and she playfully smacked my arm
