"Her eyes, her scent, and her presence say it so. She has lycan blood. She's an alpha and you should have realized it in the first place. Don't you feel it too?"

Ares and Selene looked at each other. He appeared to be beguiled believing that he is telling a fact. No matter how he insisted she can't be a werewolf, an alpha at that. She's definitely, born and raised in her world. There is no possibility that she is from here.

"Hey," Selene called him, slightly peeping her head out of Ares's arms. "...if you promise not to attack me, I will talk to you and we should put an end to the misunderstanding, right?"

Cronus' eyes brighten as he met his alpha's emerald green eyes. Selene saw an imaginary wagging of tail on Cronus's back as she sees how excited he is.

"Yes! I will promise! I will not hurt you!" He exclaimed excitedly. She became less tense witnessing the difference between the scary young man in the alley and the young man in front of her.

"Selene," Ares held her arm, preventing her to leave his side. "It's dangerous."

Selene saw a new side of Ares today, she had a glimpse of it whenever he interacts with the twins. She then, concluded that Ares treats her differently than the others.

Seeing him becoming cold, unruffled, and distant. This is not what she used to see. Ares is clumsy, hot-headed, slow, and warm. This is his complete opposite self when she is with him and with the others.

"It's alright. We'll be talking within your sight so it's safe." Perceiving that she relies on his protection somehow elevates his anxiousness. Ares lets her go and Selene walked towards that infuriating shame-less lycan.

Selene guided Cronus to sit at the small table beside one of the bookshelves. They both seated and Cronus who was silently following her all that time analyzed her whole feature, from head to toe.

She's still wearing a black cloak, concealing her body, he could only stare at her face. Without the hoodie, he can see how beautiful she is. Her hair is jet-black, wavy not curly also not straight. It looks fluffy and bouncy, he wanted to touch it but afraid that she would take it the wrong way.

He continues to trail her facial features on his memory. Sketching every line and stroke of her face to his head. The thin but dark arched brows and her green lush enticing eyes haunt him to sleep. Those long and thick eyelashes flatter each time she bats her eyes.

Clear smooth skin, that felt soft and warm under his touch. The tiny nose that compliments her small face. Lastly, staring at her pinkish dry but plumpy small lips, like it was alluring him to lean and devour her using his mouth.

He gulped, shaking his head erasing this dirty thought piling on his mind. She is his alpha, she must be respected. This is no time to think about things that they could do after marriage.

Selene had confused eyes watching Cronus shaking his head, turning his cheeks to bright crimson, and nodding by himself. It's cute of him being immersed in his thoughts.

Even though this cute manly, and handsome young man once attacked her in a dark valley. She almost forgot the sensation of his tongue licking her.

Feeling the goosebumps on her skin she chooses to start conversing with him.

"Excuse me," waving her hand on his face he came back to reality.

"Hi, before we start talking, should we introduce ourselves first?" She politely requested.

Speaking softly, Cronus couldn't help but admire his Alpha's etiquette. Despite the bad encounter last time. She still chooses to cooperate with him, with a smile too.
