34 : Awakening

Selene touched her temple and feel the wound that is supposed to be in there. But found nothing. She took her phone on her bed to use the camera to see her situation. The wound is really gone! And her eyes...is glowing, it glowing green.

Before Selene could even think what's happening. Her muscles started to contract. She gasped again for air as her lungs are being squeezed. Her eyes widened by the burning and walloping sensation that her whole body's undergoing. She just had recent torture and she's going into another one?!

She hugs herself trying to find the center of all this torture just to find out that every part of her body from her muscles to her bones was being spalled. Like a thousand thick blocks are hammering her.

"AHHHHH!" Selene stood up and tried to slam her body on the wall. Took her pen and stab herself. Instead of adding the pain, whenever she hurts herself, the tingle decreases.

Later, Selene stopped using the pen and started to use the claws that appeared on her hands. Although the excruciation is too much, she has concluded that her situation right now is similar to what she saw in the spacious room in the research lab.

She's awakening.

After the torment she had gone to, she cleans the room, where her blood was splattered all over. Seems like a hideous crime had happened.

Her clothes were disheveled soaking with her blood too. She bathes and changes into decent clothes. Go to the reception and extended her stay for the next five days.

Selene left the hotel and shop for the necessary things. She also bought knives and hammers as she remembers how can it help her to reduce the pain level. Clothes, things that could help her clean the room. Although she could not fix the things she had broke, she could still wipe out the blood on the floor and to the walls.

Within three hours, she came back to her room. She started to move the bed and the things to one side. Selene hides her important gadgets like her cell phone and laptops. She removed her outer clothes only wore her inner garments.

Selene looked at the clock. And exactly four hours from the recent torture. The new session of misery started to envelops her skull to her brain. The fangs grew and wounded her mouth.

In conclusion, she is not a human at all. How can a human, hammer her head to feel relieved of her headache? After her head has been bashed countless times that her brain was supposed to leak out to her skull. She started to feel much better. And her skull was getting more sturdy than ever.

But the agony did not stop there as she goes on to another excruciating session with her muscles and bones. Was it because she is half-blood? She's suffering from the werewolf and vampires awakening right next to another?

"Father, stop raging a war with Lycans!" Ares who was detained scream at his father who visits him.

"Ares, I don't know why are you acting like that. Lycans took your mother and your sister! And they won't give them back to us!"

"Queen mother is not with them! And Selene, Selene is missing! This is no time for you to rage a war! We should cooperate and look for her!"

"Cooperate? Ares, do you hear yourself? Lycans are just brainwashing you. They are fooling us!"

"Father you talked to them before! You know that they are not lying to you!"

"Enough! You stay here. After we defeat the lycans and retrieved your mother and sister. That is when I will set you free."

"No! Father! Father!"

Ares punched the invisible force that is keeping him restrained. It's been months, Selene is still missing. He is detained, and there is a war going on.
