Selene touched her lips as she parted with Cronus. She looked at him with a surprised face. The young man remained unfazed and peered into her eyes full of emotion. It was so deep that Selene wanted to look away but could not do so.
"W-why...did you do t-that?" She stammered as the feeling of his lips brushing onto hers still there! First, he told her that he'll be happy if she dies! Then, kissed her! What's wrong with him looking so pitiful?! She's not the one who attacked!
He smiled, a very sad one. "You see, Selene. You are not what you thought you are." He started.
"What? What are you saying?"
"You're not a human."
"..." Selene bit her lips inward.
"You're a vampire with a lycans blood flowing through your veins." He continued. Selene opened her mouth to protest but was pulled again by Cronus. Her eyes widened once again as he peck to her lips.
He stared straight at her lips after parting. He did not go too far, just an inch away from her face! She wanted to push him away but she also debating to herself. Why... why does it feel so good?!
"You are Ares' half-sister."
"Wh--"
"You are my cousin."
"Wha"
"You're mother is the queen of vampires."
"..."
"You're father is my uncle the prince of lycans."
"Wha—"
"You're not a human. You will get to choose to become a queen of vampires or queen of lycans."
"I do not belong to your option. Because you deserve so much better than a prince like me. You are not a human. You wouldn't die if you turn eighty years old. We couldn't be together even afterlife." Selene doesn't know what to process first.
The fact that he's restraining her to speak by kissing her lips.
Or was it because she is not a human?
Being adopted by her parents from the earth?
Does her blood consists of both vampires and werewolves?
How did they know that? How did they come up with that?
And worst of all, why does he look like that he is the one in pain instead of her?!
She stood up and pushes his hands away. She touched her temples trying to digest everything. Walking from back and forth.
"Selene..."
"Wait! Let me process first! AND WILL YOU PLEASE STOP KISSING ME AND LOOKING LIKE THAT! IT SEEMS LIKE I ASSAULTED YOU!" She screamed as the information in her head is not loading at all!
She steps back away from Cronus. He stood up and tried to approach her so she backed away again.
"Stop! Let me digest what you just said!--- KYAAAH!"
"SELENE!" She reached out for his hands. Skins touched but he was too late to catch her the tree already swallowed her, sucked her in. Cronus's eyes turned bright red, as he was about to follow her...the portal was no longer there.
"No, SELENE!" He screamed his loudest as he punches the solid ground inside the tree that had taken her Selene. "GIVE HER BACK!"
"SELENE!" A group of young kids swarming in Selene's direction. They are all looked worried seem exhausted for looking for her.
