35 : Hades

Selene who had gone through awakening for seven days has finally recovered. She breathes the air filling her lungs. Opened her glowing green eyes and watched the ceiling for no particular reason.

She looked at the place where she is staying and could not help but to scratch her head. Blood all-over, broken furniture, darkness as she broke the bulbs. Upside down bed, TV on the ground, claw marks on the wall. Bloody knives and hammers with nails that still have her flesh.

It is gruesome. She took off her other teared up and bloody clothes and took a bath. After she had finished bathing, she goes to the door and took the room delivery food.

She had extended her stay two days ago as she felt that her awakening will continue after the fifth day. True to her calculations, it did not end. Maybe because she is activating her two abilities as half-blood.

As she finished eating, she stood up and looked at the window. Her hotel room was on the 45th floor. There's no way she could check out and explain the situation what the hell happened to this room.

She looked down at the city. Where red and white flashing lights from the cars on the highway are twinkling to her eyes. Just like stars.

She took a heavy sigh. Walking towards her stuff and took some money and a jacket. Using the broken flat-screen TV, she broke the window and jump out to the room.

Destination, Kagawa. Where Miyaka Aoki was born. With her vampire and lycan abilities, she is as fast as a bullet train. Within a day, she had reached her destination. As she had reached the Kagawa. She bought another phone to use as a map. She had to walk up to the police station and asked for the residence of the Aoki family.

Oddly, although she doesn't know Japanese, she could understand and speak the same language. Then, she remembered what Ares have told her that after the vampire awakening their learning and cognitive skills are enhancing too.

The police have driven her to the Aoki residence. It is a big house. The police told her that, this family is one of the richest families here. But sadly, 30 years ago they had lost their only daughter. That's why this became an orphan home for the children. Because Aoki couple is too sad with their daughter disappearance.

A maid has greeted them. Upon entering Selene saw children playing in the front yard. When she had entered the hall. She saw pictures of Miyaka Aoki. She was gorgeous.

Selene took a sit in the futon that was placed beside the table and was served with tea. Then, an old lady with a strict expression has entered the room. Selene stood up to bow as a greeting.

"What can I do for you, Miss?"

"My name is Selene Mrs. Aoki." Selene smiled. "I came here to talk about Miyaka Aoki's disappearance."

The stern face has softened after Mrs. Aoki heard her daughter's name.

"What do you want to know? Or are you of those punks who wanted to use Miyaka's name to scam our money?!"

"No! No! I came here to say that Miss Miyaka Aoki was abducted by a mystical creature." Selene stated. She had prepared herself for Mrs. Aoki's rebuttal about her unrealistic conduction but Mrs. Aoki nod.

"We know. Miyaka was stolen to become a bride."

"Y-you knew?" Selene's eyes widen in surprise.

"Yes, ever since her childhood. She's been telling us that someday, someone will come to take her as a bride." Mrs. Aoki started to tell Miyaka Aoki's story.
