18 : Brawl

Before passing to the border back to Skotadi, Selene and the two visited the graveyard of an old witch couple. Selene prayed for their souls and continued to travel back...home?

When they passed the border, they took some rest before heading back to the central. Hearing that their Alpha was seen by one of the guards that their King have deployed. The five packs of Cronus rushed to the Central. 

Without mistake, they saw their Alpha living healthy and fine, after missing for almost five months without any trace. 

Atlas ran to Cronus, who was intently waiting for his order of floor to be cooked. With no warning, Atlas smacked his back with all his might. Expectedly, Cronus curled to the ground feeling the pain bashed in his back. 

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" He yelled at Atlas who looked at him with a blank face. 

"It's nice to see you too, ALPHA!" Exclaiming this one by one of his pack showed up and kicked him in the stomach with no remorse. 

He almost coughed blood by their blows. 

"Welcome back ALPHA!" 

"ALPHA long time no see!" 

"You look well ALPHA!" 

"I thought you were improving! Now even running away from home? Where have you been?!" Pan, who had the most trouble when Cronus have gone missing scream in his direction.

He was in turmoil seeing his Alpha. Whether to be happy that he came back or be mad that he left! 

"You have a lot of energy, hitting your alpha like this, aren't you fearless?" Cronus coughed again and force his body to stand up. 

"ALPHA MY ASS! Tell me, which alpha do you know who had left his pack?!" 

"I was on a mission." He replied nonchalantly and shifted his attention to the seller of the floor. "Is it done?" 

"Mission?! Either way, HEY! LISTEN TO US!" 

"Sorry, Selene's waiting. See you later." With that, he left with a blink. The five lycans were so speechless. 

WHO'S SELENE?! 

When the news reached the twins, they immediately went to look for their young master and Selene. Fortunately, they found them as soon as they left the academy.

"Young master Ares! Young lady Selene!" 

"Selene! Young master! You finally came back! Twins are overwhelmed hug both of them. 

"We missed you both!" Phobos sulked to Selene and Diemos recovered and talked to Ares. Reporting about the status of the kingdom and how worried was the King was.

"Later, I'll see him. Phobos, come here for a second." He called her as she was talking to Selene. Phobos had no choice but to convey her master's wishes. 

"Yes, young master?" 

"Both of you, listen. Never asked Selene why we left, or else, I'll torture you both." The twins looked at each other before kneeling to complied. 

Selene who watched the whole scenario was confused but did not ask anything about it. During this time, Cronus entered the room and treat the twins like they don't exist. He walked straight to Selene and gave her the floor he just bought.

"What's wrong with your clothes?" Selene notices that his clothes were dirtied.

"I tripped in the road." Selene doubts it but did not inquire anymore. 

They took a rest in that inn for Selene to sleep and when she woke up they traveled back to the Academy. On the way, a group of students blocked Cronus's way. Which caused Ares and him to stop walking.
