"You're really not coming with us?" Bolin pouted

"Not today Bobo, not feeling the club today. I promise I'll go next time" you smiled.

"Alright then, we'll see you when we get back." Akenma smiled.

You waved off your friends before coming back into the Beifong mansion. You were wearing a Dark Grey T-shirt and light grey sweats that belonged to Lin. You always wore her clothes, something about her scent lulled you to sleep. Your friends went out so you have the mansion to yourself until Lin got home.
Its going to be a longgg night. You sighed to yourself. Lin rarely ever came home early. In fact she came home late more often then she did on time.

The two of you weren't dating, however the way you two acted could fool anyone. The mansion may have many guest rooms, but you always slept with Lin. Starting from years ago, you two always got put in the same room when the entire team avatar went on "bonding vacations." Or when you couldn't sleep alone because you kept having nightmares, Lin had insisted she stay with you through the night. All that lead to you just sleeping with her whenever you were there.

Lins POV~

I glanced at the clock, I have 10 minutes left of my shift, but I might stay late. I know the kids went out clubbing.....again. How did I raise a party animal. I laughed to myself. I wonder if Y/N went..... I thought about texting her. But would that be weird? We aren't dating......sadly, but spirits knows I love that girl. Who wouldn't? My thoughts were briefly interrupted by my phone ringing

"Hello?"

"Hey mom, we left not to long ago. Y/n still there, just letting you know so you don't over work yourself and leave your girlfriend at home alone." Akenma laughed, I can hear the rest of the kids laughing too.

"Haha very funny, I'll be home early then." I gave a slight chuckle.

"Heard that guys, she didn't deny Y/N was her girlfriend." I could feel my sons smirk behind the phone. Like mother like son.

"Oh whatever squirt. Go party already" I scoffed

I could hear the kids laughing, which made me smile. "Alright then, everybody say bye," I heard the collective goodbyes and good nights, "okay Bye mom, I love you guys be safe."

"I love you guys too, don't do anything stupid." I rolled my eyes.

"Mom we told you we left your girlfriend at home. Queen of the 'stupid shit that gets us in jail'.." he giggled.

I guess your right kid. I also laughed.

"BOLIN NO DO NOT DRINK THAT-.." I heard my niece opal yell through the phone. Oh she's a Beifong.

Akenma rushed out another goodbye and hung up.

I glanced at the clock......8 minutes.....seriously?
I was eager to get home. Seeing as to Y/n was there after all. I decided to head home early, while putting away my files I heard my phone ring again. This time I looked at the name, "Y/N 🤍✨." She had changed her contact name and 'dazzled' it. I smiled to myself before answering.

"So when are coming home?" She rushed out as I answered the phone. I gave a low chuckle. The ones I know mess with her.

"I'm packing up right now, need me to grab anything while I'm on the way?" I keep my tone soft with her. Y/N is strong, but the last time I had a change in tone she had cried. Akenma thought it was funny to see me run around doing everything to get her to forgive me. Never again. I thought.
