His quirk allows him to make whatever he says true, example. If he said"Sit down", whoever that was directed at would be forced to sit.
Luckily, he could speak normally without needing to worry that he'll accidentally kill someone with his words...
However...
The big downfall of his quirk is that...
It kills him the more he uses it...
While it is already in the middle of destroying his system, the more he uses it makes it generally worse.
Midoriya was an adopted kid, after his mother died during child birth and being put into an adoption center by his father you can say life wasn't already going too well...
Until a special day came by.
It was the day of Midoriya's 4th birthday.
Midoriya was out on a small little field trip with his fellow orphans.
As he was walking down the street he noticed a man wearing a black shirt, black pants, and some kind of scarf.
He had long, black, unkempt hair, and beard stubble.
Midoriya ignored him and continued to walk with everyone...
Until a villain attacked.
They all fell back as the man from earlier sprung into action.
Midoriya's eyes widened as he watched the man fight to save everyone, it was the first time he had ever seen a hero in action.
He wanted to help.
And...
Somehow.
He did.
"Stop you nasty villain" little izuku screamed.
And suddenly a pulse wave was shot out of his mouth.
The villain the man had been fighting stopped moving and fell to the ground.
His fellow orphans gasped, Midoriya just got his quirk!
But...
The excitement was short-lived when...
Midoriya coughed up blood and fell to the ground.
The man from earlier quickly tied up the villain and ran to the boy, noticing the panic In everyone else's eyes.
"His pulse is steady, is this some kind of quirk backlash.
I have to take him to the hospital"
He pulled out his phone and called the police and an ambulance.
He sat by izuku the whole time as he was taken into the emergency room.
The adoption center employees were also by izuku's side, trying to make sure he didn't die on them.
"What's his quirk?" The raven haired man asked.
"We don't know, it just kicked in..."
"What are your relations to the boy?"
"We're his care takers at the local orphanage."
"Orphanage...
So the poor kid doesn't have parents.
