Chapter 11

Mew and Gulf became really good friends over time. 2 months have passed after the hotel event. San could feel that Gulf was somewhat changing but he couldn't pinpoint the exact change. Like he always tortures Gulf like before but still he finds Gulf isn't as depressed as he wanted him to be. Though Gulf didn't smile, he has a happy aura around him.

Yes Mew was the reason of it. San didn't know that Gulf and Mew became really good friends. Gulf meets Mew secretly at least twice a week. They go on picnics, long drives, restaurants, amusement parks, aquariums wherever Gulf wants to go. Mew is his escapade from his torturous life. Every time San beats him, he remembers that he has to bear it if he wants to meet Mew and also for his parents. He didn't understand that he is slowly falling in love with his brother-in-law.

For Mew, the best days are the days he meets Gulf. He already realised his feelings for Gulf. Despite knowing this is wrong, he can't stop his feelings. He knew they have no future as they are brother-in-laws. This made him hate his father more. He wanted to tell Gulf many times to divorce San but couldn't do so as he didn't wanna be a home wrecker in Gulf's eyes. Also he knew Gulf wouldn't divorce p'San because of his parents.

Today Gulf and Mew planned to go for a long drive. So Mew was on his way to meet Gulf. He was stuck in traffic when he saw a familiar car beside him. He was shocked to see his phi with a girl in intimate position. They were kissing each other. Though he couldn't see the face of the girl he guessed it's Puifai. He silently drove away and reached the place he was supposed to meet Gulf. Gulf came after a few minutes. He was confused to see an emotionless Mew. He wasn't used to it. Cause every time he meets Mew, he had a bright smile on his face.

"P'Mew did something happen?? Are you in a bad mood??"
"No"
"Then why are you looking like this, phi??"
"Looking like what??"
"Kinda scary"
"Cause I thought we're good friends Gulf. But I now know I am wrong."
"Phi why are you saying so??"
"Then why do you hide things from me Gulf?? Tell me Gulf... Don't you trust me?"
"What happened Gulf??"
"Nothing phi" Gulf gave a forced smile.
But Mew was stubborn and rolled the sleeves of Gulf's shirt despite his protest. What he saw made him angrier. There were bruises all over his hand.
"Where did you get these bruises, Gulf??"
Gulf was scared seeing a very angry Mew who reminded him of San. A tear rolled down his eyes.
"So you were lying to me for the past few months"
"Phi"
"So it was all lie when you told me phi behaves well with you now.... He is gradually accepting you"
"Phi"
Mew continued ignoring Gulf.
"It was also a lie when you told me phi cut all ties with Puifai"
"How did you know??" Gulf was shocked.
"I saw phi with Puifai today"
"So that's why you're so angry" mumbled Gulf.
"Why did you lie to me Gulf??" Mew's voice was a whisper now.
"I'm sorry phi. I know how much you love your brother. I didn't want to be the reason of your conflict. Also I don't want you to pity me"
"I can never pity you Gulf. I love you damnit" shouted Mew making Gulf shocked. Gulf's eyes widen at the sudden confession.
"What did you say phi??"
"I'm sorry Gulf. I know it's wrong but I can't stop my feelings for you. I like you for a long time."
"Then why didn't you say that before??"
"I was afraid"
"Afraid of what phi??"
"I was afraid that you would hate me, that you would feel disgusted with me... I was afraid I would lose you. I can't lose you Gulf. Even if I have to be only friend of you, I don't wanna lose you."
Gulf was lost in thoughts. Mew couldn't held his tears thinking Gulf is disgusted that's why he is silent. He was truly afraid of losing Gulf.
He touched Gulf's shoulder with shaking hands. Gulf flinched making Mew more afraid that Gulf now hates his touch too.
"Gulf??" Mew called with desperation. Gulf just looked at him without saying anything.
"Please say something... Are you disgusted?? Do you hate me?? You can yell at me but please don't remain silent"
"Why would I yell at you??"
"Huh??"
"Tell me what did you do wrong so I should yell at you??"
"My feelings"
"Do you regret it phi??"
"What?? Noo!! I know it's wrong but I will never regret this"
"Then why should I hate you??"
"I thought"
"Don't think too much phi"
"Then why were you so silent??"
"I was just grasping what you told me"
"So you're not disgusted??"
"Should I??"
"I don't know"
"I also don't know phi... I don't feel disgusted or hatred towards you.. I don't understand my feelings anymore"
"So tell me what did you feel when I confessed to you first??"
"Uhhh kinda happy??"
"Happy??" Mew was surprised.... 'So does he have feelings for me? No no what am I thinking?? It's impossible!!'
"Yes phi.. I also don't know but I guess I was happy as you're my only escapade and support from this life..."
"Oh" Mew was kinda disappointed.
'No worries Mew... You always just want to stay beside him.. not to own him... But he is not happy... I didn't do anything in the past thinking he is happy... So I should do something now' thought Mew.
"Gulf??"
"Yes phi..."
"Please let me talk to p'San..."
"But phi.."
"Please Gulf... We all four are hurting because of my father. I can't let four lives destroy without even trying to do something"
"But phi... What if p'San doesn't agree??"
"I know my brother... He is just confused.. I will make him understand"
"Thank you phi"
"Don't thank me... But can I request you for something??"
"What phi?? Anything for you"
"Can you give me a chance after everything is over??"
"Phi" Gulf mumbled with a blushing face.
"Ok fine.. you don't have to think about it now... Let's settle this problem first"
Mew offered Gulf a smile which brought a smile on Gulf's face too....

[Hii guys... I'm back.. Hope you guys didn't forget me and this story... I'm really sorry for disappearing for so long... Now I promise to update this book regularly and finish it quickly...  Also sorry for mistakes as I was detached from writing for so long....
