Chapter 5

"Phi please wait for me... Don't go anywhere..."
After Gulf went downstairs San lit a cigarette. He was annoyed and wanted to leave the place as soon as possible. After some time Gulf returned with a beautifully wrapped packet.
"Phi this is for you. Our engagement gift."
San was somewhat surprised. But as soon as he heard "engagement gift" his mood worsened. He looked at the packet as if all the faults were of this packet.
"Phi take it and open the packet please."

He wanted to decline the gift. But seeing Gulf's eagerness as well thinking about his father's threat, he took the packet. Gulf became very happy at that. [Oh my poor Kana... He gets happy so easily]
San reluctantly opened the packet. There was a perfume of a famous brand in the packet. He was expressionless at first. But when he smelled the fragrance he frowned and gradually he became angry. He threw the perfume bottle on the ground and it shattered into pieces. Gulf was confused and hurt.

"Don't you try to win me by giving gifts... How much effort you give you can't get place in my heart."

And with that San went downstairs. Gulf stood there like a fool he made of himself. He was thinking what went wrong. Puifai said that it was the favourite of San. After much thinking he got to the conclusion that maybe the perfume fragrance reminded him of Puifai and he couldn't forget the pain so reacted fiercely to hide that. He consoled himself saying it would take time because p'San is broken hearted. Little did he know that was not the real reason behind San's outburst.

However the preparation of marriage was going on in full speed. Both the parents forced two of them a few times to go on a date. But every time the date turned out to be disastrous.

Every time Gulf got insulted and hurt but he endured it all(oh my poor baby😭😭)
San's behaviour worsened day by day as if all of his suffering were Gulf's fault.

Gulf's dream of a caring and loving husband already shattered. But he didn't wanna shatter his parents' hope and happiness. Thinking that San would gradually accept him, he didn't tell anyone anything. It's not like Gulf didn't think to reunite San and Puifai but Puifai didn't agree. Besides he couldn't bear to hurt his parents and also their reputation.

The time quickly passed and it was already the wedding time which rather looked like a business show-off. Every decor screams rich and sophisticated.  No friends of the grooms were present. Only business partners and some family members as like the engagement. Even Becca and the younger son of the Suppasit could not attend the wedding.

San had put on a business smile all the time. Gulf has to follow him everywhere to meet all the business people with a smiling face despite his unwillingness. Everyone was praising Gulf for his good-looks and cuteness. It added more to San's irritation.

However the wedding finally completed without any problems. It was time for Gulf to leave his parents' house. Gulf can't help crying when leaving. His mother was also crying loudly. Gulf never parted from his parents. Even he didn't go to picnic because he can't live without them. But now that he has to leave even they are in the same city it's not the same. Gulf's father suppressed his urge to cry. Thus son is too precious to him. Mr Suppasit nudged San to go front. San got the hint and went to grab the crying Gulf from his mother's embrace. Then he said, "Don't worry uncle and aunt I'll keep Gulf happy and also he isn't going far. You can visit us anytime."
"Call us mom and dad. I am trusting you with my beloved son. Please take good care of him." Said Gulf's mom with a smile.
"If you hurt Gulf even unintentionally we'll severe all ties with the Suppasits... Even the business ties also." Threatened Gulf's dad.
Gulf's eyes widened and his decision of not letting his parents know about San's behaviour became more firmed as it will affect their business.
"Yes dad." Said San with a smile as he could guess what Gulf was thinking.

They lived in Suppasit mansion for two days before flying to Switzerland for honeymoon. Their five days' honeymoon was kinda torture for Gulf. He didn't have anyone to talk to as San ignored him all the time. He said that he had friends living here whom he didn't meet in ages so he would live with them. Gulf was left alone in the hotel room. The inexperienced Gulf didn't even know how to manage everything alone. But he decided to stroll a little on the second day and accidentally discovered San with his 'friend' who was none other than Puifai. He was really heartbroken but still didn't blame them. He still thought Puifai as his friend and decided that he shouldn't disturb them as he felt guilty for being the reason of their separation.

After returning to Thailand they went to live in San's house. San refused to stay with Gulf at the same bed. But as there were servants who would report to his father so they had to live in the same room. So Gulf had to sleep on the couch. First one month they didn't interact with each other. Still Gulf hoped their relation would develop one day. But all his hopes shattered at their one month anniversary. Gulf personally cooked dinner thinking San at least would eat that as normal dinner and thus he could secretly celebrate the day. But San didn't return. Gulf waited till 10 and then stored the foods in the fridge as he lost appetite. He went to the sofa to wait for San but dozed off. At 1am he heard sounds of commotion can be heard from outside the door. He quickly opened the door and found the driver carrying a heavily drunk San. He took San from the driver and thanked him. After that he took San to the bedroom. San was reeking off alcohol so Gulf decided to change his clothes. But as soon as he took off San's shirt his world came crashing down.

San's body was full of love bites and nail marks which were fresh. That means San was with another person on their anniversary. Though he didn't expect San to remember, he didn't expect San to cheat either. Unknowingly a tear ran down his cheeks. And then tear started to fall uncontrollably. Suddenly San woke up as tears fall on his body. But when the drunk San saw Gulf in his bed with his shirt in hand he misunderstood the situation.
"How dare you try to take advantage of my drunk situation?? You disgusting whore!!!" With that he started beating Gulf mercilessly. Gulf was so shocked that he forgot to resist or to save himself. Since then it became quite common for San to return drunk and beat Gulf.

Guys first of all I'm extremely sorry for so belated update. My exams are going on and I couldn't manage time to update... I updated the chapter as I don't have exam tomorrow... I'll try my best to update in between my exams... Hope you like the chapter... Keep supporting naaa😊😊
