Chapter 3

Everything was arranged very fast and the engagement was fixed to happen on the weekend.  People from press-media, business partners and some of the close relatives were invited in the ceremony.  Both Gulf and San didn’t wanna invite their friends.

The day before the engagement
(Morning)

Gulf couldn’t sleep well since the day the engagement was fixed. He felt everything was too fast for his liking.  But when he saw the happy faces of his parents he can't say anything.  So it's already 10 but he didn’t wake up from sleep. His parents thought it's better for him to sleep as he maybe was very nervous about everything. 

Gulf's phone is continuously ringing since 9. But Gulf muted his phone after the first ring as it was disturbing his sleep and he was having a headache because of the lack of sleep of past few days. Mrs Kanawut came to wake him up at 11. After he freshen up he checked his phone and frowned seeing so many missed calls from an unknown number. He tried very hard but didn’t recognise the number. After thinking for a few moments he decided to call back.

G: Hello. May I know who is this?
??: Hi....  Am I speaking to Mr. Gulf Kanawut?
G: Yes. But I'm sorry I couldn’t recognise you.
??: Oh actually you don’t know me. But can you meet me please?
G: Huh? If I don’t know you then why would I meet you?
??: Actually It's very important.
G: About what? And who are you?
??: It's about your wedding.  And I'm a well-wisher of both you and San. You won’t regret meeting me.
G: Where and when?
??: If you don’t mind let's have lunch at xxx restaurant
G: OK.  But how will I recognise you?
??: Oh just call me after you reach.

Lunch time

G: I've already reached. Where are you?
??: Wait a minute. A waiter will come to get you.

Waiter: Hello Mr. Kanawut.  Please follow me.

The waiter directed Gulf towards a private box. Entering Gulf saw a very beautiful and elegant girl is sitting there. Gulf went and sit opposite to her.

"Hi Gulf. Please order...  I've already order for myself."

After ordering----
"So miss who are you? And why did you wanna meet me?"
"My name is Puifai and I'm San's girlfriend I mean ex-girlfriend. We love each other a lot."
Gulf's face paled after hearing what she said. Her parents happiness,  her sister's acceptance everything rushed to his mind. Yes his sister accepted him.

Flashback

The day Gulf's engagement was fixed his parents called Becca to inform about this. To Gulf's surprise for the first time Becca took the initiative to call Gulf.
G: Becca is that you? You've really called me?
B: Yes.
G: Are you alright? Are you in some kind of problem?
B: No.. Actually...
G: What happened?  You can tell me anything.
B: I called to apologise.
G: Huh?
B: I'm sorry bro...
G: Did you just called me bro?
B: yea-yeah... Actually I always mistreated you cause I was jealous...  I always thought you are an outsider and useless still my parents love you so much... But...
G: But...
B: You know You're the most filial son they could have.... This Suppasit Corporation is very important for our company and you decided to get married to a stranger just for dad... You were there to sacrifice in the most crucial time and I.. I can't do anything for my family...
G: Who says you can't do anything?  Come to attend my wedding...
B: Thank you bro.. And I'm really sorry....
G: It's ok sis...
Flashback ends

San loves someone else... Now what about our wedding?  The engagement already is announced.  The press- media,  our relatives.. What will happen to our reputation --- it seems like Gulf's world is crushing. His dream of wedding,  a loving husband...  His would be husband loves someone else... But he can't cancel the engagement at any cost.... After a lot of thinking....
"Why are you meeting me now? Why didn’t you tell your boyfriend to stop the wedding?  I'm telling you I Won't call of the wedding "
"Relax.. Are you ok? You don’t have to call off the wedding actually.... "
"Then what do you want from me? Why did you call me?"
"Because....."

Because what?? What do you guys think? What's the intention of Puifai? Does she wanna help Gulf? Or she'll be the villain?  Will the wedding happen ultimately??
