Song: Bottom of the River - Delta Rae

Quick tw for gore and rape. The warning for rape will be labeled right before the scene so you don't have to read it if you don't want to.

My eyes were glued to the sky. The vibrant blue hues had me hypnotized and I stared in awe as the rhythmic sound of our carriage rang on my ears.  My eyes hurt as they still weren't used to the bright light of the outside but for once, the pain wasn't caused by something awful.

"Beautiful isn't it?" The blond man said as he looked at my face.

"Indeed. Can I ask you something eyebrows?"

The short man glared daggers at me and let out a tch. 'Does the angry midget talk or is that the only sound he knows?'

"Of course."

"What do you fight for? and don't give me that saving humanity crap. I'm sure that's part of the reason but I think there's more."

He smiled "I want to find the truth. Like you, I believe there's more than living in these walls. I think the government may not be disclosing the whole truth about titans and our history and I want to prove all of it." As he talked I could see a glimpse of pain maybe grief so I made a mental note decided not to push forward. The carriage stopped and my body tensed up even more than it already was. I know I'm not great with respecting authority, not because I am a rebel at heart, but because there are just too many assholes in positions of power who rely on the norm that they should have our respect despite their faults and wrongdoings. I say fuck that, everyone should be held accountable for their actions no matter their position or their power. We got out of the carriage and Erwin offered me his hand as I tried to get down. My leg, the one with the hole in it (thanks to the angry elf), was better but not great. I accepted his help and we headed to the inside of a huge building. As we entered two soldiers walked to us, each eying me up and down.

"We're gonna need all the weapons she has on her and these go on." they signaled to metal cuffs.

I looked at Erwin, not really feeling comfortable with being disarmed AND restrained. Erwin gave me a sympathetic look and nodded. It was an 'It will be okay' nod which I reluctantly trusted. I started dismantling my ODM gear and handing it to the guards, I took both of my blades hanging on my hip and thigh and handed it to them too. Hesitation invaded me and I thought of leaving something I could defend myself with but it could also bite me in the ass if they found out about it, so I refrained from that. I took my revolver out, the knives out of my boots, small knives that were tucked on the underband of my bra, and on the waist belt of my pants. The more I took knives out of secret places, the more the soldiers widened their eyes. I could also feel Erwin and Levi's eyes on me but I choose to ignore it. As I handed the last knife they all stared at me expectantly. I stood there feeling exposed and sad I didn't have knives on me anymore when I realized they were all still staring at me.

"What? ...That's all, I swear." Erwing chuckled as the soldiers proceeded to put the cold cuffs on my wrists and knees. Then they lead us through the hallways. They opened two huge doors as they both grabbed my arms leading me to the center of the weird-looking room. One of them kicked the back of my legs making me kneel and attached my chains to a pole. The room had a couple of people inside and soon a man entered the room taking his seat at the front.

"Everyone here is already aware of why we are here so let's proceed. Erwin, you wanted to commence the trial?"

"Yes sir, as everyone is aware (y/n) is an extremely talented individual. In our fight for humanity's survival, I think she would be of great help. We want her to be a part of the Corps and possibly be a part of the Special Operations squad with Captain Levi. That would be all."
