So Soon

After hearing the news of Vanessa and Ken being engaged, Barry just couldn't believe it, he just felt betrayed by her. He actually felt that she felt the same, Barry felt like an idiot for ever believing she did. What he didn't understand was why Vanessa looked gloomy when Ken reveled they were engaged.
Shouldn't she be happy? He didn't care though he just wanted to leave the apartment and go home, he didn't even wanna look at Vanessa again. Barry excused himself and when he did, he noticed Vanessa look at him strangely, he flew out the window but he didn't feel like going back to the hive so instead Barry flew around the city and decided to land on top of one of the buildings and sit on the edge to just watch the night sky.
He didn't want to think about Vanessa but she was the only thing that was on his mind and he absolutely hated it, he loved Vanessa very much and she knew that so how could she hurt him in that way? He messed up once and this is what happened. He didn't know if he should go back and try to convince her to not get married to Ken or just let it be, deep down he knew what he should do but he couldn't decide if he should or not, he went back to the hive and thought about what to do.

The next day he got up early and decided to go and tell her that she can't go through with marrying Ken and she should be with him.
When he got there he saw Vanessa and told her exactly what he was thinking which was that they belonged together no matter what society says about a human and a bee, he knew he loved her. Vanessa looked at Barry and put her head down as she told him that she just couldn't do that, she said she loved Ken but couldn't look Barry in the eyes and tell him.
He couldn't believe what she told him, he felt like a fool and went back home. Their wedding was only two days away and Barry was too distraught to go.
