As Vanessa walked back into her apartment she tried so hard to not make a sound since it was already midnight, suddenly she heard the click of a lamp and as she turned to the direction of the sound she saw Ken sitting in their living room on a sofa chair.
"You were with that bee you've been talking to me about, weren't you?" Ken said angrily.
without even looking Vanessa in her eyes.
Vanessa was stunned, shocked, and even had her eyes bulging. She quickly snapped out of it and replied
"I don't know what you're talking about, Ken"
Ken turned to Vanessa and got up from his sofa chair
"You don't know what i'm talking about now, huh? Your mother called me today, she wanted to have lunch and go over the wedding with you and I.
Do you know what i had to said to her?
Oh sorry ma'am, your daughter is too busy cheating on me with an insect!"
Ken grabbed his coat from the sofa chair and walked to the front door.
"Ken, wait I can exp-."
Vanessa said before being interrupted by the sound of the front door slamming behind Ken.
Vanessa walked up to the window where she saw Ken walking in the rain to the subway station. She was wondering if she should run out and go after him, she walked up to the front door and reached for the door handle, she hesitated and clutched her hand to her chest and let out a tear.
