Coming Clean

It was a week since Barry and Vanessa had last spoken, and he was now heartbroken he thought since he didnt have to hide the fact that he had been speaking to a human, he decided go finally tell his parents and his friend Adam.
When he finally came clean about Vanessa actually being a human Adam said he knew, just because of the way Barry would sneak around and Adam had even seen him sneak out at night to leave the hive, so he knew whoever he was talking to wasn't Beeish.
His mother and father forgave him even though it was very frowned upon to be speaking to a human. Barry saw how freaked out his parents were about talking to Vanessa so he decided not to tell them that he still loved her.
After confessing to them about what he had been up to, Barry decided to apologize to Vanessa the following day.
He knew that Vanessa was right about the situation and he needed to apologize to her.

Barry decided to go the following day but he knew he couldn't wait anymore, he wanted to make things right with her in this moment.
He flew to her apartment and slipped through a crack in the window, Vanessa wasn't home so Barry waited for her to arrive in the kitchen.
While waiting for her he snooped around around her cabinets for rum cake.
After waiting for about two hours he finally heard keys turning in the front door and he heard her talking so she had to be with someone that or she was going insane and talking to herself.
When the door opened he saw Vanessa walk in first and right behind her was Ken, and their laughter and chatter went immediately quiet when they saw Barry standing there.
Vanessa told him to leave but Ken interrupted her and said that it didn't matter what had happened the week before because it was all behind them. He decided to invite Barry to stay for dinner and when Barry agreed to stay and he sat down to eat, Ken made a toast to getting engaged to Vanessa the night before.
