• Hailey's P.o.V •

"Hey how's it goin' there?" Spencer looked down at Thomas and I.

I shrugged, "He's still passed out, screams ever so often. Please tell me it's lunch time."

"About an hour or so till."

I groaned, "This day is goin' by so bloody slow. I can't deal with this."

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Thomas mumbled turning his head.

"Shh, it's ok Tommy." I stroked his hair. "It's ok."

"Don't worry, I'll be sure to bring some lunch." Spencer smiled. "I feel like a slave out here."

"Gally's fault?"

She nodded, "He's makin' us do the most stupid things."

I laughed, "It's better than sittin' down here all day with nothin' to bloody do."

She smiled, "Probably. Newt had wanted me to check on you to make sure you were ok. Obviously you are."

"You should probably get back to work before Gally like does something." I stated.

She nodded and walked off as I looked back down at Thomas who started turning his head side to side quickly. I sat up not knowing if he was gonna wake up or something. He started breathing heavily.

"No! Stop! Hailey!" He screamed. "Stop!"

"Thomas." I shook him.

Nothing. He started sweating as his head turned and he breathed heavily.

"Tommy." I shook him again.

Again nothing and he just it was scaring me. I don't like this. He screamed as my eyes watered and I jumped back from his side. I grabbed ahold of the bars and looked around the Glade.

"Jeff!" I screamed. "Jeff!"

Thomas screamed again and I jumped in result. Just calm down Hailey calm down.

"What?! What happened?!" He came running over towards me

"He just started freakin' out out of no where. Is that normal for the Changing?" I looked between him and Thomas.

He looked between me and Thomas and sighed, "Yeah it is. He can be completely calm then freak out really bad or he can be freakin' out really bad then go completely calm. Its like a mood swing."

I nodded letting out a shaky breath as a tear slipped.

"I know, it's scary to watch it happen. Im sorry you're stuck in there." He placed his hand on mine.

I shook my head leaning it against the bar as a couple more slipped, "I don't wanna watch the pain."

"I'm sorry Hailey."

"What is bloody happenin'? Hailey are you ok? What happened?" Newt came rushing over.

"The Changing scared her. That's all." Jeff said sadly.

"You shouldn't have to be down there. Gally doesn't understand that." Newt said. "She needs to be out of there away from Tommy."

I shook my head, "No matter how scared I get Im stayin' with Tommy." I looked up at my brother.

He sighed and frowned, "Im just sayin' I think it's better for you to be up here. But you can make that choice and you'd chose to stay so that's ok."

"Good that."

I gave him a small smile before he sighed and walked away. Jeff gave a smile before getting up and walking away. I turned around and looked at Thomas's now calm body. I really really don't like this.
