The next day I had planned out. April is going to watch Lanie and I'm going to take Navy out on her first motorcycle ride but she doesn't know it yet.
I made plans with April to show up around 11:30. I had to go to the shop and do a tattoo early that morning but I'm back home now.
"Navy where are you?" I asked looking around.
"I'm upstairs!" She called out.
"Hey! I have a surprise for you!" I said smiling.
"Well, what is it?" She laughs.
"You have to come downstairs," I said standing in the door while she dresses Lanie.
"Ok give me a minute to finish dressing her." She said.
I went back downstairs and hid the gift. She sits Lanie in the bouncy and walked over to the bar.
"So April is coming over by 11:30 to watch Lanie while I take you out." I smile.
"Take me out?" She asked.
"Yeah, this will explain things," I said handing her a big box.
"Wow, this is a big box." She said taking the lid off and pulling the helmet out.
"I got you your very own helmet and I'm going to take you on a motorcycle ride today." I smile.
"Oh, I'm so excited. What do I need to wear?" She asked.
"Just some jeans and a t-shirt is fine," I said watching as she runs her fingers over the helmet before rushing upstairs to change.
The doorbell went off and I open the door to April. "Hey, April! Thank you for coming over and helping us out today." I said.
"No problem! Glad I could help." She smiled and went over to Lanie in the bouncy chair and played with her.
It wasn't long until Navy came back down the steps in a tight pair of jeans and a t-shirt and some boots.
"Are you ready to go?" I ask.
"Yeah just let me go over things with April." She said.
I went on out to the garage and got my Harley started up and waited and it wasn't long until she came out.
I help her get the helmet on and explained things I needed her to do while riding. Lean with me and also watch her leg so she doesn't burn it on the pipe.
I get on and then she gets on behind me and when we head out of the garage she held onto me tightly and I loved it.
We rode maybe thirty minutes away from home to a spot I always used to come to with Morgan when we were younger and I doubled him.
"What is this place?" She asked looking around.
"Just a place I used to come to with Morgan all of the time. Just a watering hole as they call it." I said.
"It's beautiful Kash and I have to say I really liked riding the motorcycle with you." She smiled.
"I'm really glad that you did. I like feeling your arms wrapped around me." I said grabbing her hand and pulling her down a path.
When we got to the bottom of the path there was a beautiful waterfall I've seen a million times but never with a girl.
"Oh, Kash it's beautiful!" She smiled.
"I can't take credit for finding it. Morgan did and he used to jump right in clothes and all." I laugh.
"He sounded fun and liked to take chances." She smiled up at me.
I wrapped my arm around her neck and pulled her close to me and kissed her lips.
"So is this a date Navy?" I smirk.
"I guess it could be as long as you feed me at some point." She giggled.
"Well, I had planned on it." I smiled.
We sit down on some grass near the waterfall and just watched it. "I'm sorry I fell asleep last night Kash." She said.
"It's ok we have plenty of time to try that bed out. Shorty knew what was going on so you know Ivy and the guys at work and Des they all are going to know." I said.
"I guess we can't hide the smiles on our faces huh?" She said.
"I'm very happy. Hell, I don't think I have ever been this happy. You say I helped your grief well you have helped me with mine. I only think about you and Lanie all the time." I said.
"It was meant to be then huh? I need to just give you some closet space." She smiled.
"I would take it Navy," I said leaning over kissing the side of her head.
"I mean you did buy me a bed so I figured you were planning on sleeping in it with me." She said leaning her head over on my shoulder.
"Really? I just bought it for you without any expectations but I would be glad to share it with you every night." I said.
"I mean you do already live with me, Kash." She laughs.
"True and well my dad is loving it in Florida so who knows if he will ever come back but I can't part with my house and Morgan's room," I said.
"You don't have to Kash. Keep it or rent it out but you can always lock his door or something until you figure it out." She said.
"Yeah, that's an idea. So do you want to jump in the water?" I laugh.
"I think I will pass this time. But at some point, I want to come back when it's way warmer and skinny dip with you." She smirked.
"Really? Hell yeah, I'm holding you to that. Let's go so we can go grab some food." I said grabbing her hand and helping her back up the hill.
We got our helmets on and got on the bike and headed to this little hole in the wall that has the best food.
When we got there and she took off her helmet and shook her hair from side to side and it made me hard.
