"Come on, Rose Tyler, the world is waiting for us! Beyond the door is the unknow!" Said the Doctor facing Rose, who reciprocated when the TARDIS finally stopped in the shaking, and they could stand on their feet without falling.

"I don't care how many times I lived this. It's always a good feeling." Said Rose starting toward the door, with the alien behind her. The Doctor stopped at the door and started to speak smiling.

"Yes. Exciting. There can be anything through the door. Pompeii, tea party in the 1900s, the just born planet Earth, planets, stars, solar systems, pyramids, forgotten civilisations! So many marvellous things." He said all the way smiling more and more, and faster.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Said Rose smiling, not tolerating postponement.

"Yes ma'am!" Said the Doctor picking up his coat. Then he reached out to open the door. But his hand stopped halfway, then he began to back away quite interestingly as if something was stabbing his side.

"Doctor, are you alright?" Asked Rose worriedly. The Doctor stopped what he was doing whatever it was.

"Yeah." He said then he reached into his jacket pocket.

"Message on the psychic paper." He took it out and then began to read it. When he saw that it was longer than he expected, he walked to the control and leaned against it.

Doctor!

I hope you got my message. It was a long time ago when we met, I hope you doing well. But my point is more than just a simple chat.

Juliette and I want you to come to the party for our 300th wedding anniversary. You know it would mean a lot. After all, you're the one who brought us together.

And I promise you that now we will find you someone. It would be time to have someone next to you who loves you. If you haven't got someone already, which I don't think so, but I would be happy about it.

Don't decide not to come because of this, it really does matters to us. You know the company is important.
We'll be waiting.

Your friend:
Peter Drukowski

The Doctor sighed as he reached the text's end. He liked Peter, and the party didn't sound bad. He just didn't understand why he wants to find him someone their every meet. The only thing he achieves with it is awkward conversations. On the other hand, what would he say to Rose? He can't say to Peter that he has someone because Rose will maybe believe it. But if he doesn't, there's a chance that he has to spend the whole evening with a stranger. What should he do? Don't go? That would be rude.

"What's wrong? What is it saying?" Asked Rose stepping closer. The Doctor gave her the paper with a suffering face. Rose stood beside him, and she leaned against the control panel too.

Rose's face didn't change while she read. That wasn't good for the Doctor. He couldn't read anything about it.

"And what's the problem with this? I mean, it's your friend's wedding anniversary, you must go. It's possibly a big event. The 300th. It's crazy." She said it like she hadn't read the second part of the text.

"Yeah. When I met him, he was familiar to me. I didn't think that he got married once." Said the Doctor with barely noticeable sadness in his voice. He didn't want to admit it, but it would be a good feeling to live in love with someone. He's got one name in his head. Rose. But she not possibly reciprocate his feelings. A human and a Timelord. Preposterous. Even if she loved him back, they couldn't be together for 300 years. Although every day he wished it could be true.
